What this job involves

The Technology Analyst supports the strategy for sourcing technology applications to meet the requirements of the Work Dynamics business line across the Americas. This role involves working with both upstream and downstream applications in the source-to-pay process, collaborating with Sourcing & Procurement and Work Dynamics Operations teams to ensure consistent and rigorous technology deployment throughout the Enterprise. The position requires supporting end-to-end sourcing technology strategy, managing technology applications, conducting training, and providing sourcing technology insights and guidance in a fast-paced, global matrix environment.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Working closely with Director, Sourcing Technology to build and support the end-to-end sourcing technology strategy and vision
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and align sourcing activities with business objectives while communicating latest developments in sourcing technology
  • Coordinating with team members and subject matter experts to solution sourcing technology applications and data requirements
  • Conducting technology training and engaging with end users on deployment and operational efforts for new applications
  • Serving as the first point of contact for sourcing technology and data insights and guidance to Work Dynamics teams
  • Searching for efficiencies and improvements in end user process flow while facilitating spend report requests outside of standard scope
  • Recording and tracking key client attribute updates to maintain data quality within the sourcing technology ecosystem

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Office-based work environment requiring extended computer use for technology analysis and system management
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working with various sourcing technology platforms
  • Visual acuity required for detailed data analysis and technology application review
  • Manual dexterity needed for extensive keyboard operation and system navigation
  • Ability to participate in virtual and in-person meetings with global stakeholders across time zones
  • Professional office setting with potential for hybrid work arrangements

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience, preferably with a sourcing technology company
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university
  • Track record of developing and implementing sourcing technology in a complex global organization
  • Proven ability to communicate complex ideas clearly, gain respect of colleagues, and work collaboratively
  • Strong analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills combined with outstanding business acumen
  • Excellent PC skills with proficiency in MS Office applications and intermediate to advanced MS Excel
  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate messages to variety of audiences and establish strong relationships at all organizational levels

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with e-sourcing technology platforms such as Jaggaer, Ariba, or Coupa
  • Understanding of or exposure to global real estate categories in facilities management and capital works projects
  • Experience working with candidates from similar sized companies in global matrix environments
  • Background in technology training and user engagement for application deployment
  • Knowledge of source-to-pay processes and procurement workflows
  • Experience with data quality management and client attribute tracking systems
  • Familiarity with Work Dynamics or similar business operations environments

Estimated compensation for this position:

109,200.00 – 119,200.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
