What you’ll do:

The Teller Services Coordinator is responsible for the supervision of all branch functions associated with processing customer transactions and maintaining operational soundness. The role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills as well as the ability to indirectly motivate staff and effectively organize / delegate operational duties among staff members. Responsibilities include: 

  • Efficiently run all operational procedures and practices within the branch, including dual control adherence

  • Keep the branch team informed of policy and procedure changes pertaining to teller operations; may require partnering with Branch Operations Support

  • Take a proactive approach to solving operational issues

  • Ensure security procedures are established and being followed for the safety of employees and customers

  • Lead by example by operating a teller drawer to serve customers in lobby or drive

  • Ensure team members comply with all bank and regulatory policies and procedures to maintain security and mitigate preventable losses

  • Promote and foster exceptional service throughout team to ensure best in class customer service is being provided

  • Resolve customer concerns, as necessary, which may include online banking, debit card, statement maintenance, etc.

  • Recognize potential cross-sell opportunities and refer customers to appropriate bank personnel 

  • Participate in community events, as needed

Qualifications:
 

  • Previous teller experience required

  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills  

  • High school diploma or GED required, college degree preferred

  • Travel between branches may be necessary

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time

  • Bilingual Spanish required

Compensation:

The estimated hourly rate for this role is $22.00 to $24.00, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual pay rate may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience.
