The Trading Systems Project Manager coordinates projects across Sales, Engineering, and Marketing, focusing on trading technology and execution services, ensuring stakeholder alignment and managing project deliverables.
Wolverine Execution Services (WEX) is seeking a Trading Systems Project Manager to support cross-functional initiatives across our Sales, Engineering, and Marketing teams. This role will act as a central coordinator between business and technical stakeholders, helping drive projects related to trading technology, execution services, and client connectivity.
The Trading Systems Project Manager will play a key role in organizing and executing initiatives that support WEX’s institutional trading platform and client-facing services. This includes coordinating projects involving platform enhancements, client onboarding and integrations, and internal workflow improvements across multiple teams.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and able to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced financial markets environment.

What You’ll Do
• Serve as a key liaison between Sales, Engineering, and Marketing teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment across projects.
• Manage projects from planning through implementation, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Work with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and translate technical concepts into actionable project plans.
• Support initiatives related to client onboarding, trading platform enhancements, and execution services infrastructure.
• Facilitate project meetings, track progress, and communicate status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Maintain and organize project documentation, including requirements, timelines, and technical documentation.
• Identify project risks, dependencies, and blockers, and coordinate solutions across teams.
• Help ensure internal teams remain aligned on initiatives involving trading systems, integrations, and client connectivity.

What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in financial services, fintech, or a technology-driven environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and experience writing software requirements or technical documentation.
• Client-facing experience in a technical capacity.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Ability to context switch between competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across both business and technical functions.
• Familiarity with electronic trading systems, financial market infrastructure, or trading technology is preferred.
• Exposure to FIX protocol, trading connectivity, or binary market data protocols is a strong plus.

The base compensation range for this role is approximately $100,000-$120,000 contingent on experience. Wolverine Execution Service's total compensation model includes base salary and an annual discretionary bonus.
