The Transactional Core FP&A Leader will provide financial leadership for the ~$3B Heavy Duty Gas Turbine (HDGT) Transactional Core Services portfolio, partnering across Finance, Commercial, Sales, Services, Pricing, Supply Chain, and Operations.
This role blends FP&A, commercial strategy, operational execution, and transformation to improve growth, profitability, cash generation, and portfolio visibility. The leader will work directly with senior stakeholders to translate business priorities into clear financial insights, operating rhythms, and execution plans that support strategic decision making.

Job Description

What You’ll Do

You will serve as the finance leader for the TX Core and MMP Core profit pools, bringing strategic insight, operational discipline, and financial rigor to a global portfolio.

Business & Financial Leadership

  • Own FP&A for the ~$3B Transactional Core business, including forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning, monthly close, estimates, and portfolio analytics.
  • Drive financial performance across growth, profitability, working capital, and cash generation.
  • Consolidate and communicate the end-to-end outlook across commercial, operational, and cash metrics.
  • Prepare executive-ready financial reviews, Long Range Forecasts, Budgets, Early Reads, and Monthly Operating Reviews.

Strategic Business Partnering

  • Partner with regional ITRs, Commercial Finance, Sales Operations, Fulfillment Finance, Pricing, Supply Chain, and Operations to convert priorities into measurable financial outcomes.
  • Develop operating playbooks that improve execution against orders, revenue, margin, cash, and productivity targets.
  • Provide financial counsel to senior leaders to strengthen decision-making and portfolio performance

Drive Operational Transformation

Lead finance support for strategic initiatives that strengthen visibility, execution, and accountability across the business, including:

  • MMP Contract Utilization - improve visibility to customer utilization versus minimum commitments, enabling proactive commercial actions, operational planning, and application of contractual penalties where applicable.
  • MMP Order Booking Transformation - assess order recognition and forecasting using commercial pipeline and Salesforce data to strengthen ownership & accountability.
  • Support operationalization of the MMP Transformation roadmap through sustainable operating rhythms, financial governance, and performance management.
  • Partner with Commercial, Sales Operations, and Pricing to develop strategies that address inflationary market conditions while protecting profitability.
  • Support and involve in enterprise initiatives that improve service execution and fleet readiness, including but not limited to:
    • Integrated Services Management (ISM)
    • Non-Capital Parts Center of Excellence / Perfect Order
    • Ready-to-Serve initiatives for outage readiness, parts forecasting, and fleet risk mitigation.

Continuous Improvement

  • Lead finance transformation focused on standardization, simplification, automation, and stronger business insights.
  • Improve financial and operational visibility through analytics, standard work, and
  • modern reporting.
  • Champion best practices across Services FP&A and build a culture of accountability
  • and continuous improvement.

What You'll Bring (Required Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge/experience
  • Significant years of experience in finance, accounting, or audit experience (or equivalent outside the U.S.) 
  • Proven experience in a finance leadership role 
  • Preferred graduate of Finance Management Programs (FMP, OFLP/CAS, etc.) 
Nice To Have:
  • Graduate of GE Finance Management Programs (e.g., FMP, OFLP/CAS).

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $124,900.00 and $208,100.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
