We are seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to serve as a transversal anchor across all modernization workstreams. This individual will work directly with our customer’s technology leadership to shape the overall architecture strategy, connect domain teams, and ensure coherence across data, rules engine, UX, and AI tracks.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end architecture discovery across 7–8 business domains including Origination, Servicing, Sales & Distribution, and Credit
  • Audit existing architecture documents and produce a current-state assessment across applications, integrations, and data flows
  • Define and socialize the target architecture strategy in alignment with domain-driven design principles
  • Serve as the connective layer across data, rules engine, UX, and AI workstreams — ensuring consistency and no duplication
  • Partner with client technology leadership to prioritize quick wins and long-term modernization initiatives
  • Build trust with internal engineering teams and guide them through architectural decision-making
  • Support SOW scoping and team structure recommendations for the implementation phase

Must-have skills

  • 15+ years in enterprise architecture roles
  • Strong experience with domain-driven design (DDD)
  • Hands-on background in application modernization (cloud, microservices, APIs)
  • Experience navigating large financial services or regulated environments
  • Ability to work across business and technology stakeholders
  • Strong expertise with integration patterns, API gateways, and event-driven architecture

Nice to have

  • Exposure to student lending or fintech platforms
  • Experience with Salesforce architecture (headless/API usage)
  • Familiarity with AI governance frameworks
  • Prior consulting or systems integrator background
  • Knowledge of MuleSoft or Kong as integration/API platforms

Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 72,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 252,000
