What You’ll Do:
Sourcing & Strategy
- Support transportation sourcing strategies developed by leadership
- Partner with Operations and Implementation teams to align carrier strategy with client needs
- Analyze transportation spend and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Participate in client meetings, business reviews, and carrier meetings
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and sourcing SOP management
Pricing & Analysis
- Provide truckload (TL) pricing support for Sales and Solutions teams
- Analyze pricing trends using Tableau, DAT, and internal pricing data
- Identify pricing gaps and recommend corrective actions
- Conduct RFPs, carrier bid analysis, and sourcing evaluations
Carrier & Contract Management
- Assist with carrier negotiations, rate agreements, and capacity planning
- Maintain carrier rate, fuel, and accessorial agreements
- Ensure pricing accuracy and compliance within Echo’s TLRG system
- Monitor carrier performance and support service issue resolution
- Maintain knowledge of carrier capabilities, coverage, and service offerings
Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve sourcing processes
- Support operational problem-solving and process optimization
- Help strengthen carrier relationships and sourcing effectiveness
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Understanding of truckload (TL) pricing fundamentals
- Operational experience with TL shipments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and internal teams
- Comfortable presenting information to peers and leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with transportation pricing tools or freight data platforms
- Familiarity with Excel or logistics analytics tools
