The US Treasurer will own the treasury function at IMC, focusing on funding optimization, liquidity management, and Prime Broker relationships while leading a treasury team and collaborating with various departments.
IMC is seeking a highly skilled US Treasurer to own our regional treasury function, with full accountability for funding and financing optimization, margin efficiency, liquidity management, and Prime Broker relationships. The role reports directly to the US CFO and works closely with Global Finance and regional Risk, Trading, and Business Strategy & Development teams.

Your Core Responsibilities
Treasury Ownership & Governance
- Establish and lead IMC's US Treasury function, defining objectives, KPIs, and reporting frameworks across funding, margin efficiency, liquidity, and counterparty risk
- Serve as the single point of accountability for regional Treasury decisions, with robust policies, controls, and governance appropriate for a global trading firm
- Operate within IMC's Global Treasury Framework, collaborating with regional treasurers and Global Finance to coordinate operations and build shared tools
- Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on funding, margin, liquidity, and counterparty risk
Funding & Liquidity Optimization
- Own the regional funding and liquidity strategy in line with IMC's growth ambitions
- Optimize funding across Prime Brokers, banks, and other counterparties across products and markets, actively managing costs, rates, capital allocation and utilization, and concentration risk
- Manage excess liquidity and optimize returns within Management Board-approved risk appetite
- Partner with the Global CFO and Finance team to ensure funding decisions balance cost efficiency, scalability, resilience, and execution reliability
- Enhance the efficiency and embedded controls of the cash management process, own bank relationships
Prime Broker Relationships
- Serve as IMC's senior regional owner of Prime Broker relationships
- Negotiate Prime Broker financing terms, margin methodologies, balance sheet capacity, and service levels
- Assist in coordination of Prime Broker wallet allocation globally, weighing economic contribution, reliability, and strategic importance
- Drive counterparty diversification and resilience as IMC scales
Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership
- Build and scale a lean, high-impact treasury team over time
- Partner closely within Finance, Trading, Risk Management, and Trading Operations
- Position Treasury as a strategic, value-adding function within IMC
Your Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's or master's degree in quantitative disciplines such as finance, mathematics, engineering or economics.
- 10+ years of treasury experience within a trading firm, hedge fund, prime broker, asset manager, or investment bank supporting high-turnover trading strategies
- Deep knowledge of funding, financing, margin, and liquidity mechanics across trading markets
- Proven track record managing senior Prime Broker relationships and negotiating complex commercial arrangements
- Strong analytical mindset with comfort in data-driven, systematic environments
- Effective communicator with the ability to engage credibly across counterparties, senior stakeholders, and internal teams
- Able to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
