About the Role

The UX/UI Designer will design and create graphics to meet specific commercial and promotional needs. The position will work with our Product team and takes ownership of the user experience/user interface design products, ensuring their success in the market.

Duties will include:

  • Imagine and build the next features for the Hugging Face Hub (hf.co) and other products.
  • Contribute to products in the “Developer tools” and machine learning space.
  • Develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logs, and websites.
  • Work on developing apps or pages to expand the Hub to new domains, help design blog posts, videos, talks, and demos, and drive the direction of the product.
  • Lead the designs of visually compelling marketing landing pages for key products (Spaces, Inference Endpoints, Classroom), to drive client and user growth.
  • Lead the graphic designs of Hugging Face social marketing courses, in-person events, and merchandise to contribute to significant social exposure of Hugging Face.
  • Lead the UI/UX design of certain features on the Hugging Face Hub to improve user engagement and daily active users (DAU) throughout the Hugging Face Hub.
  • Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts, based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts.
  • Collaborate with Hugging Face’s head of design on various projects.
  • Design the UI/UX of image classification and the payment flow of AutoTrain, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Lead the UI/UX of Hugging Face merchandise store website, to elevate Hugging Face visual identity and merchandise sales.
About you

Requires Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Design, or related field, and demonstrated knowledge of or experience in the following:

  • Standard UX software such as Figma or Sketch
  • Using UX design best practices to design solutions
  • Mobile-first and responsive design
  • Iterating designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently
  • Working with team members to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet team needs and vision
  • Synthesizing company-level goals to help teams across multiple product areas create remarkable design experiences
