Job Description

Research and Development, is currently seeking a Microscopist to work in Research and Supplier Integration organization. The selected individual will join a Microstructure Group studying the structure/function relationships inherent in diverse food systems, which include proteins, carbohydrates and lipids. 

Qualifications

Requirements include: 

MS or equivalent in chemistry/biochemistry with a proficiency in advanced microscopy techniques including Confocal Laser Scanning Microscopy, SEM & x-ray micro-analysis. Current experience in fluorescent microscopy, histochemistry and digital image analysis would be considered favorable. 

The position requires the ability to work on several projects simultaneously, write scientific reports and communicate findings to manager. 

Keen problem solving skills and an investigative mind are needed. Must be able to work well in a team.
