As VP of AI, you will be the primary responsible for Movable Ink’s AI strategy. You will own proprietary model development, ML Operations, and the experimentation and data science that are embedded in our offering. You will partner with other executives at Movable Ink and within our client companies to maximize the impact our solutions bring in the market.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Movable Ink’s C-suite and executive team on guiding Movable Ink’s AI strategy
  • Manage and develop a team comprising data, engineering, and AI/ML developer profiles
  • Continuously improve Movable Ink’s proprietary models for content generation, content decisioning  and send decisioning informed by latest developments in the field
  • Own the online experimentation & data science in support of our model and product development
  • Serve as a consultant to Movable Ink’s Go-to-market teams on both Sales and Retention strategy and tactics
  • Present directly to senior executives in client organizations, up to C-level – occasional travel required

Qualifications:

  • Advanced research degree, ideally PhD in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Deep learning expertise, specifically understanding of modern recommender systems and LLMs
  • Routinely keeps up to date with ongoing academic and industrial research in relevant modeling applications and have a track record of bringing models to production and driving business outcomes through ML and AI applications
  • Solid understanding of web experimentation / online controlled experiments & using metrics and analytics to guide model and product development
  • 5+ years of management experience, including managing managers and different functional profiles
  • Experience driving a 9+ months roadmap, balancing between pragmatic solutions and long-term investments
  • Adept at guiding high-pace problem solving under pressure when technical issues or client escalations arise
  • High comfort level presenting to senior executives up to C-level and breaking down complex technical matter into understandable yet accurate mental models

The base pay range for this position is $300,000-$340,000/year, which can include additional on-target commission pay/bonus. The base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Other incentive pay may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the position ultimately offered.
