The Vice President, Strategic Growth & New Markets will lead BAS's expansion into new markets, underpenetrated channels, and emerging growth opportunities. This executive will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing strategic client relationships while helping define the long-term growth strategy for BAS.

This role will expand the reach of Premium Retail Services, Mosaic, ActionLink, and Product Connections by developing new market-entry strategies, building executive-level relationships, and creating scalable growth platforms that accelerate BAS revenue and market relevance.

Unlike traditional business development roles focused primarily on RFPs or existing opportunities, this leader will proactively identify whitespace opportunities, commercialize new capabilities, shape solution strategies, and establish BAS as a trusted growth partner within high-potential industries and channels.

The ideal candidate combines executive-level selling capability with commercial leadership, strategic thinking, and a proven ability to create demand where no formal opportunity exists today. They will work closely with the Chief Growth Officer, agency leadership teams, and operational subject matter experts to build scalable solutions that drive sustainable growth for BAS and its clients.

  • Evaluate industry trends, investment activity, consumer behavior shifts, retail disruption, and competitive dynamics to uncover future growth opportunities.
  • Build repeatable growth strategies and vertical playbooks that can scale across BAS and Acosta Group.
  • Help define long-term growth priorities and areas for future investment.

Executive Relationship Development

  • Develop and cultivate senior executive relationships across target organizations and industries.
  • Engage with executive stakeholders including leaders in sales, channel sales, retail operations, field marketing, brand marketing, customer experience, and commercial leadership.

  • Develop strategic pursuit plans for complex business opportunities.
  • Lead executive presentations, solution workshops, negotiations, and commercial discussions.
  • Collaborate with agency leadership teams to convert opportunities into long-term client partnerships.
  • Create opportunities before formal RFPs, RFIs, or sourcing events occur.

Solution Development & Commercialization

  • Partner with agency leaders to develop innovative solutions aligned with emerging client needs and market opportunities.
  • Help shape BAS go-to-market messaging, commercialization strategies, and solution packaging.
  • Design scalable programs capable of expanding beyond pilot engagements into long-term enterprise partnerships.
  • Guide pricing strategy, financial modeling, proposal development, and commercial structuring efforts.
  • Develop business cases that clearly articulate value, return on investment, and growth potential.

Cross-Agency Leadership

  • Partner across Premium Retail Services, Mosaic, ActionLink, Product Connections, and broader Acosta Group capabilities to develop integrated client solutions.
  • Influence and align internal stakeholders around strategic growth priorities and opportunity pursuits.
  • Serve as a mentor and coach to business development talent focused on new logo acquisition and market expansion.
  • Help establish best practices in prospecting, pipeline management, commercialization, and growth strategy execution.
  • Support the continued development and scaling of BAS's growth organization.
