Lead enterprise AI and transformation engagements—own customer relationships, scope buildable solutions with FDE, drive commercial outcomes and expansion, advise C-suite on AI strategy, and create repeatable, scalable offerings to evolve Tive into an AI-powered intelligence platform.
The summary above was generated by AI

At Tive, we imagine a fully-transparent world in which everything and everyone is connected. We innovate beyond what the world thought possible—so what people hold near and dear arrives on time and in full.

We believe (and live!) four core values:

  • Transparency First: We make everything visible so that everyone can operate better
  • Always strive to make things simpler
  • We are One Team, we have each other's backs
  • Relentless iteration to optimize and improve

Whether shipped by road, rail, ocean, or air, Tive reduces shipment delays, minimizes rejected loads, and decreases theft, damage, and spoilage. Our customers count on Tive to ensure that their shipments are delivered on time and in full—because every shipment matters.

As AI reshapes every industry, we believe the next frontier is helping customers move beyond visibility toward intelligence, automation, prediction, and autonomous decision-making. Tive's unique shipment, operational, and supply chain data creates a powerful foundation for building the next generation of AI-powered enterprise solutions.

As the VP, Enterprise Solutions, you will act as an orchestrator and strategic problem-solver, sitting at the center of Tive's Forward-Deployed Engineering (FDE) operating model. Serving as the vital connective tissue between enterprise customers, FDE, Engineering, Product, Sales, and Customer Success, you will leverage proprietary data, emerging AI, and deep customer partnerships to create transformational business outcomes.

You will move seamlessly between boardrooms, customer workshops, engineering reviews, and product strategy sessions. Bringing a consultative, Challenger mindset, you will diagnose complex customer operations, reframe problems, design solution paths, and own project scoping and customer demand while Engineering owns delivery.

Crucially, you will bring the discipline to say "not yet"—scoping tightly and defending the capacity gate to protect the core platform even under pressure. Ultimately, you will drive commercial and strategic impact by accelerating enterprise deal velocity, expanding account value, and unlocking multi-million dollar AI revenue streams while helping the world's largest enterprises build the future of data-driven logistics.

Our ideal candidate has:

  •    15+ years of experience in enterprise technology, digital transformation, consulting, solutions leadership, or product leadership roles.
  • Experience in Challenger or Consultative sales motions with large enterprise organizations — a problem-solver and solution designer, not a pure closer.
  •  Proven track record of hitting or exceeding commercial targets (e.g., influenced revenue, expansion revenue, or booked ARR).
  • Proven experience working directly with Fortune 500 and Global 2000 organizations, including influencing C-suite stakeholders and senior business leaders.
  • Track record of leading large-scale transformation initiatives and executive-level customer engagements.
  • Demonstrated ability to scope engagements tightly and hold commitments under top-down and customer pressure.
  • Experience orchestrating high-performing cross-functional teams across engineering, product, sales, and customer success.
  • Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, enterprise software, cloud platforms, and modern data architectures.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.
Preferred Experience
  • Bringing technology solutions to enterprise customers, including enterprise SaaS platforms.
  • Working with or alongside Forward Deployed Engineering, solutions engineering, or field engineering teams.
  •  Supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, or operational technology environments.
  • Product management and product strategy leadership.
  • Deploying, utilizing, and managing AI agents.
  • Cloud ecosystems including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Own Enterprise Engagements End-to-End
    • Own the enterprise customer relationship and all customer communication across the engagement lifecycle — from opportunity identification through solution adoption.
    • Decide which customer problems to pursue and how engagements are prioritized and sequenced.
  • Partner with Enterprise Executives
    • Build trusted relationships with CEOs, CIOs, CTOs, Chief Digital Officers, Supply Chain leaders, and Operations executives across Global 2000 organizations.
    • Lead executive workshops focused on AI strategy, transformation opportunities, and innovation initiatives.
    • Identify where AI can fundamentally improve customer operations —AI agents, workflow automation, predictive analytics, and decision intelligence — and serve as a strategic advisor on enterprise AI adoption with Tive’s data.
    • Guide customers through the organizational, operational, and technology changes required for successful transformation.
  • Drive Commercial Outcomes
    • Partner with Account Executives to navigate complex landscapes within Global 2000 accounts, positioning Tive as a critical line item in the customer's budget.
    • Act as the Executive Sponsor on high-value pursuits, leveraging technical and AI credibility to clear blockers at the C-suite level.
    • Drive Net Revenue Retention (NRR) and expansion by identifying upsell opportunities for customized AI modules, agents, and advanced data-stream access.
    • Build ROI frameworks and business cases that demonstrate measurable customer outcomes, and partner with Sales and Customer Success on strategic account growth.
  • Translate Customer Needs into Buildable Solutions
    • Design and scope solutions for the FDE Team to build — this role shapes the what and the why; the FDE Team will own the how and the delivery.
    • Jointly assess technical approach and feasibility with the FDE Team before anything is committed to a customer — no scope or delivery dates are promised without Engineering sign-off (the capacity & feasibility gate).
    • Bring rapid prototypes shaped with the FDE Team into executive conversations to accelerate validation, in a form that can be deployed and scaled on proper infrastructure.
    • Create repeatable frameworks, offerings, and implementation playbooks that make each engagement faster than the last.
  • Orchestrate Across Tive
    • Serve as the coordination point between the Enterprise Customer, the FDE Team, Engineering, Product, Sales, and Customer Success — owning scoping and demand.
    • Establish feedback loops between Customers, Engineering, and Product to accelerate innovation.
    • Partner with Customer Success on the supportability bar and handoff: solutions transition to standard support only once documented, monitored, and built from standard platform components.
  • Drive Product Innovation
    • Bring a strong product mindset to every customer engagement, focused on repeatability, scalability, and long-term value creation.
    • Identify opportunities to graduate customer-specific solutions into scalable platform capabilities, and make the case for them as roadmap proposals.
    • Leverage proprietary Tive data to shape differentiated offerings, and help drive Tive's evolution from a visibility platform into an AI-powered intelligence platform.
  • Establish Thought Leadership
    • Represent Tive as a leader in enterprise AI, innovation, and supply chain transformation — at executive forums, customer events, industry conferences, and strategic briefings.
    • Stay at the forefront of emerging AI technologies, enterprise adoption patterns, and industry trends, and help define Tive's position as a trusted AI innovation partner.

What does Tive offer?

  • A chance to join what may very well turn out to be the most important company in your career.
  • The autonomy and resources to build what you know how to build.
  • Work with a committed global team that have each others back.
  • Office-based or hybrid options. Your choice.
  • Competitive equity to ensure all of our employees have a sense of ownership in the long-term success of Tive’s growth.

Compensation:

$200,000-$220,000 base salary + bonus structure
