ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-End Implementation & Transformation Leadership
Lead large-scale LifePRO®, TPA, digital platform, and AI-enabled transformation programs from solution planning through deployment, stabilization, and business adoption.
Solution Delivery & Architecture Governance
Provide technical leadership across architecture, engineering, integrations, data migration, testing, release, and deployment to ensure scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions.
AI & Digital Solution Enablement
Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, and AI teams to embed automation, analytics, GenAI, and Agentic AI into implementation programs to drive measurable business outcomes.
Client Engagement & Delivery Governance
Serve as the senior delivery leader for strategic client programs, managing stakeholder relationships, governance, risks, decisions, and business objective realization.
Team Leadership & Delivery Excellence
Build and lead high-performing teams across implementation, engineering, architecture, data, QA, and program management, with a focus on accountability and execution excellence.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Drive innovation and operational excellence through modern engineering practices, reusable frameworks, emerging technologies, and delivery accelerators.
Data, Integration & Platform Modernization
Lead complex integrations, data conversion and migration, platform modernization, and implementation readiness across the client ecosystem.
Consolidated Solution & Technology Strategy
Define and own a single, consolidated solution and execution strategy across the multiple distinct applications and technologies that make up the LifePRO® and TPA ecosystem, eliminating fragmentation and aligning architecture, engineering, and delivery teams to one unified roadmap and execution plan.
Production Stabilization & Escalation Management
Take ownership of recurring problem areas across the platform, lead root-cause analysis and permanent remediation, and establish proactive monitoring, defect-prevention, and escalation-management practices that measurably reduce production issues and client escalations.
- 20+ years in enterprise architecture, engineering, or solution leadership within consulting, SI, or digital practices.
- Experience partnering with senior client stakeholders including CIO, CTO, CDO, and business executives.
- Proven experience in legacy policy admin system, architecting data-driven, AI-enabled enterprise solutions, as well as adoption of standardized engineering and delivery practices
- Strong understanding of legacy system, cloud migrations, integration frameworks, data fabric/mesh, and AI orchestration.
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Familiarity with Generative AI, Agentic AI, intelligent automation, and AI governance frameworks in enterprise environments.
- Background in managing global delivery teams and distributed engineering organizations.
- Experience establishing AI engineering practices, reusable frameworks, and innovation labs.
- Deep, hands-on understanding of how a Third Party Administrator (TPA) ecosystem operates end-to-end across new business, underwriting, policy administration, billing, claims, disbursements, commissions, reinsurance, and regulatory reporting.
- Proven track record stabilizing complex, multi-application production environments and reducing recurring defects and client escalations.
- Experience defining and executing a consolidated technical strategy across a portfolio of distinct applications built on diverse, heterogeneous technologies.
Skills
- Strong understanding of Life Insurance and Annuity products, policy administration platforms, TPA implementation methodologies, and core business processes.
- Deep expertise in enterprise software delivery, solution architecture, system integrations, API-driven ecosystems, microservices, and cloud-native platforms.
- Experience leading development of enterprise and web applications using Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and modern integration patterns.
- Ability to lead senior technical, design, development, QA, conversion, data migration, testing, deployment, and production cutover teams.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML, Generative AI, Agentic AI, intelligent automation, NLP, predictive analytics, and AI-driven business transformation.
- Experience with AI solution lifecycle management, including solution design, deployment, monitoring, governance, and continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with AI engineering practices, MLOps/LLMOps, responsible AI, model governance, and enterprise AI adoption.
- Expertise in modern software engineering practices, including Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, cloud engineering, release management, and distributed systems architecture.
- Working knowledge of infrastructure, including servers, AWS and/or Azure cloud, firewalls, load balancers, environments, and security considerations.
- Ability to evaluate technical architectures, implementation strategies, integration approaches, scalability, delivery risks, and solution feasibility.
- Strong program and portfolio delivery leadership across multiple large-scale implementations, transformations, and modernization initiatives.
- Proven ability to lead globally distributed engineering, architecture, implementation, and delivery teams in matrixed organizations.
- Strong commercial acumen, including solution shaping, implementation planning, estimation, proposal support, and value realization.
- Exceptional executive communication, stakeholder management, client engagement, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to act as the single accountable technical leader across a complex, multi-application solution landscape, creating one unified architecture, integration, and execution strategy.
- Strong incident, problem, and escalation management capability, including root-cause analysis, permanent defect prevention, and production health governance.
- Deep working knowledge of the TPA technology ecosystem and the interdependencies between policy administration, ancillary, and integration applications.
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $200,000 - $250,000 per year.

The top of the range is reserved for candidates who notably exceed the requirements; the lower end applies to those with less experience or fewer preferred qualifications. For positions based in higher-cost zones (e.g., California, New York, New Jersey), actual compensation may exceed the posted range; your recruiter will share specifics during the process.
