Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Web Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites and web applications, from layout to function, according to our specifications. You will work closely with marketing and other developers to create visually appealing, user-friendly, and highly performant web experiences.
What You'll Do
- Development & Coding: Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code using current best practices in web development.
- WordPress Development: Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, including creating and modifying custom themes and plugins.
- UI/UX Implementation: Translate visual concepts into functional, responsive, and accessible user interfaces.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Test, debug, and maintain existing web applications to ensure optimal performance, security, and uptime.
- Optimization: Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability across various devices and browsers.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with marketing and product teams to gather requirements, define project scopes, and deliver solutions on time.
- Documentation: Create and maintain software documentation, including API references and system architectures.
- Provider & Customer Engagement: Work directly with provider and customer marketing teams to gather requirements, translate feedback into actionable solutions, and maintain strong working relationships that support a seamless experience for providers and patients alike.
- Continuous Learning: Stay plugged into emerging technologies and industry trends, applying them to operations and activities where appropriate

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience in web programming or web development.
- Core Languages: Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Version Control: Understanding of Git and collaborative workflows (e.g. Bitbucket).
- Web Architecture: Understanding of RESTful APIs, web services, and how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications (Optional)
- WordPress & CMS Development: Highly proficient across leading CMS and website backend platforms including WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, GoDaddy, Shopify, etc. Brings hands-on experience developing, customizing, and maintaining these platforms, including custom theme and plugin work.
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular) and/or back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Ruby on Rails, PHP).[Adjust based on whether this is a Front-end, Back-end, or Full-Stack role]
- Familiarity with SQL and/or MongoDB databases.
- Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
