Remote WHMCS Support Manager responsible for developing and maintaining WHMCS modules, templates, and integrations; ensuring billing data accuracy; managing ETL into a web hosting data warehouse (PostgreSQL/MySQL); and driving BI reporting and custom reporting code (Java/Angular). Collaborates with Billing, IT, and analysts to build reports and optimize database performance.
This is a remote position.
- Develop and maintain different WHMCS modules and 3rd party integrations, after market add on's, aligning with the business Product Roadmaps
- Update WHMCS TPL templates and implement coding changes to enhance functionality and user experience
- Create hooks to connect the WHMCS billing system with external tools, software, and services for seamless integration
- Take ownership of ensuring data accuracy within WHMCS by collaborating closely with the Billing and IT teams
- Conduct thorough research to identify and resolve issues, bugs, and data inaccuracies within the billing system
- Manage data replication and translation processes from the billing system into our data warehouse
- Assist business analysts in organizing data and developing tools for building comprehensive business reports
- Pull data from various sources, such as Billing, Ticket, Chat, and Phone systems, into the Web Hosting Data Warehouse using ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) jobs
- Assume responsibility for the Data Warehouse database, ensuring its integrity and optimizing its performance in PostgreSQL and MySQL
- Drive Business Intelligence Reporting efforts by extracting relevant data from the data warehouse into BI reporting tools like Zeppelin or others
- Perform custom coding to extend the functionality of reporting tools using Java and Angular
Requirements
- Strong experience in web hosting services, with hands-on experience in WHMCS administration (a must).
- Experience maintaining and building WHMCS modules and 3rd party and API integrations.
- Proficiency in PHP and CSS coding, with a solid understanding of web development principles
- Familiarity with both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, as well as WordPress
- Knowledge of business intelligence concepts and reporting tools is a plus
