The candidate must have lead experience in the following modules:  Financial Accounting and at least one other Record To Report module. CPA preferred.

The candidate will work with our existing Kainos team to help support the suite of Workday Financials modules in this pillar.

Our AMS team thrives on a strong, supportive culture; we work together, share knowledge openly, and celebrate success as a team. By adapting quickly to shifting priorities and customer needs, we deliver exceptional results while building trust and long-term partnerships with our customers. With deep expertise, continuous learning, and a customer-first mindset, we serve as a strategic partner to more than 100 customers, driving their success every step of the way.

In this lead role, the candidate will:

  • Demonstrate deep expertise in Workday functionality, configuration, and best practices, with a strong understanding of troubleshooting and working on enhancements in the Post Production space.

  • Leverage knowledge of testing strategies to guide clients on effective test planning and execution.

  • Approach customer work with a strategic mindset and long-term outlook, effectively coordinating across multiple workstreams to ensure alignment and cohesion—such as managing interdependencies between Financials and Payroll during complex projects.

  • Demonstrate initiative and curiosity when navigating challenging issues, actively researching and developing thoughtful, scalable solutions.

  • Take ownership of the delivery process by proactively gathering requirements, accurately scoping and estimating work, and setting clear, realistic timeline expectations with clients.

  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with clients by developing a deep understanding of their internal processes, organizational context, and unique needs.

  • Successfully manage multiple clients by balancing competing priorities and adapting quickly to shifting demands, ensuring each client feels supported and valued.

  • Provide guidance to junior team members by modeling best practices in requirement gathering, configuration, and client engagement, ensuring consistency with our standards of excellence.

  • Play an active role in staffing and onboarding, helping to shape a capable, well-supported team equipped to meet complex client needs.

  • Contribute to the growth and evolution of our team by actively supporting internal initiatives, including process improvement, service delivery enhancements, and optimizing how we partner with customers.

  • Partner with the sales team to represent our services confidently and credibly in pre-sales engagements and contribute to the creation of sales content, grounded in real-world experience.

Minimum (Essential) Requirements:

  • 4+ years of deep experience as a post production/AMS consultant lead (or lead for Workday implementations) in the FINS pillar and modules specified above.

  • Experience with Workday Report Writer, EIBs, calculated fields, and security setup.

  • Beneficial experience (not required):

  • Experience in a client-side Financials role

  • Client-side Workday implementation experience
