Job Overview

The Workplace Experience and Corporate Services Specialist will join a global Workplace Operations team, bringing industry best practice, novel approaches to incrementally innovating and improving the overall workplace experience. We need the right person to step in and help grow a team of diverse, dynamic and highly capable professionals that shape the spaces where we work and help define who we are as a company.

The Workplace Experience and Corporate Services Specialist role supports and collaborates with our business partners internally to manage and execute Relativity and client events and meetings in our Chicago and other global locations. Reporting to the Workplace Operations Manager, this role will have a strong focus planning, managing, and executing events, and Workplace Operations/Facilities support, with the objective of delivering customer excellence.

The successful candidate will have a track record of liaising with internal and external constituents at all levels, including C-level executives, with the ability to champion strategy and recommendations. Additionally, the right candidate will have a passion for events, strong leadership, thrive in a demanding, fast-paced environment, be a team player, and be extremely proactive with our employees and clients, always putting them first and doing everything possible to accommodate their needs.

Job Description and Requirements

This position is a full-time in-office role (5 days a week in office).  

Responsibilities:  

  • Deliver best-in-class workplace services to deliver connection, collaboration, and growth to our diverse employees.  

  • Advance and manage a process of gathering employee sentiment / feedback to continuously evolve the workplace program.  

  • Plan, manage and execute internal events and as needed, meetings. This includes, but is not limited to weekly lunches, receptions, cocktail parties, dinners, product launches, etc.   

  • Work across the organization with global Workplace Counterparts, Administrative Assistants and Chief of Staffs, IT/AV, Communications and Creative Teams to successfully plan, manage, and execute events  

  • Be the subject matter expert for Relativity’s client experience   

  • Manage partnership with vendors for events and catering  

  • Demonstrate superior customer service and hospitality to all clients and Relativians

  • Deliver excellent customer service throughout the lifecycle of an event, motivating other team members to perform the same.  

  • Continually seek out and implement new tools, communications, or workflows that can streamline processes, increase efficiency and improve the customer experience.  

  • Motivate and inspire global Workplace Ops counterparts and Administrative Assistants while rewarding and cultivating a culture of a high performing team  

  • Train and transfer expertise to global Workplace Ops counterparts   

  • Support SLT with ad-hoc special projects  

  • Proactively taking on new, impactful initiatives and exhibit a curiosity for learning   
     

Qualifications:  

  • Experience Required: 3-5 years of Facilities and event management, hospitality, client experience  

  • High degree of creativity and passion for event planning  

  • Enthusiastic and motivated to grow within the Workplace Operations team  

  • Self-motivated attitude and is focused on delivering results  

  • Accustomed to delivering exceptional white-glove customer service  

  • Experience collaborating with other internal partners (e.g., IT, HR, Security, Communications, etc.) to develop and implement cross-functional workplace experience strategies.  

  • Deep understanding of workplace and real estate fundamentals and knowledge of leading practices and trends.  

  • Excellent influencing, problem solving, and project management skills  

  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to interface with C-level executives both internally and externally  

  • Proven track record in collaborating with various stakeholder groups  

  • Education Bachelor’s degree, preferred in communications, marketing, or hospitality or equivalent work experience  

  • Helpful Experience: Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, Workday, Envoy, Genetec  

Relativity is committed to competitive, fair, and equitable compensation practices.

This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives.

The expected salary range for this role is between following values:

$60,000 and $90,000

The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
