This is a paid internship, at competitive rates.  The Memorial Day and 4th of July holidays are paid days off.


CNO Financial Group is hiring a Worksite Intern to work alongside our B2B2C Sales Enablement team to analyze, experiment, and propose changes or enhancements to the way our Agents engage with Employers and Employees based on research & analysis, engagement data, segmentation, and in-market experiments in order to move measurable metrics.  We are looking for an intern who is highly interested in the intersection of Demand & Sales, Marketing, Content and Systems. Our intern will explore how to better utilize those systems to tell tailored stories, at scale.  


Core responsibilities and deliverables:

  • Create campaign briefs across prospective and existing B2B customers – what is working? What is not creating engagement?
  • Define experiments that aim to improve B2B2C engagement and scheduling rates, by auditing segmentation, content and workflow design
  • Create industry specific campaigns, targeting emerging markets and make recommendations
  • Review specific channel delivery and messaging to craft experiments to improve conversions and cross-sell opportunities
  • Work with Marketing and Compliance partners to ensure regulatory and privacy rules are followed
  • Make recommendations on workflow design and data enrichment as avenues to improvements

What you need (Minimum requirements):

  • Progress towards a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related discipline.
  • Status as a rising junior or rising senior, approx. graduation dates of December 2027-June 2028.
  • Availability to work 40 hrs/week for 10-12 weeks during the summer.
  • Candidate location in Central or Eastern US time zone is preferred OR willingness to work Central or Eastern time zone business hours.

What will set you apart (Preferred experience):

  • Prior internship experience
  • HubSpot or other CRM experience
  • Comfort with marketing data, marketing systems and/or B2B sales or enablement environment

What you’ll gain:

The CNO 2027 internship program will run May 17 through August 06, 2027.

CNO supports a flexible work environment and encourages Associates to work where they are most productive. This position may work fully remote from any US-based location, provided they are able to work Central or Eastern Time hours. All work must be performed within the United States, and occasional travel to corporate offices may be required.


Associates living within 60 miles of a corporate office (Carmel, IN; or Chicago, IL) have access to work from that location as needed.


Compensation

Pay Range: $21-$23 Hourly
