Description

Are you passionate about creating high-energy, powerfully engaging worship environments that lead people into life-changing encounters with God? If you have a heart for shepherding others and a "hero-making" mindset, we would love to meet you!

At Willow Creek’s South Lake Campus, we are looking for a Campus Worship Pastor to help us build a Christ-centered culture and a dynamic worship experience that truly glorifies God.

Your Mission

In this role, you aren’t just leading songs; you are leading people. In collaboration with our Central Arts & Worship team, you will plan and execute weekend services that move ideas into transformative experiences. Your week will be a mix of creative leadership, administrative excellence, and hands-on ministry including volunteer care and pastoral connections with congregants.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the Room: Serve as the primary worship leader, providing powerful pastoral moments for our congregation during weekend services.
  • Build the Team: Spend significant time actively recruiting, training, and discipling our talented volunteers—from vocalists to full bands.
  • Develop Future Leaders: Partner with our youth ministries (JHM and HSM) to mentor and develop the next generation of worship leaders.
  • Collaborate: Work alongside the Campus Pastor and Central teams to ensure the vision and strategy of Willow Creek are executed with excellence.
  • Pastoral Care: Beyond the stage, you will perform vital pastoral duties, including weddings, funerals, hospital visits, and providing crisis care assistance.
Who You Are

We are looking for a collaborative, self-aware leader who thinks about the "we" instead of the "me".

  • Experienced Leader: You are a proficient worship leader and strong vocalist with a track record of leading volunteers.
  • Tech-Savvy: You have a working knowledge of tools like Playback and Planning Center, with the ability to build and organize tracks.
  • Growth-Oriented: You possess a "hero-making" mindset and a desire to see others flourish in their spiritual gifts.
  • Heart for Service: You carry spiritual gifts in areas such as Leadership, Shepherding, and Creative Communication.
Investment in You

We believe in taking care of our team so you can focus on the mission. This position offers:

  • Salary Range: $56,000 - $77,000 (depending on experience and skill set).
  • Comprehensive Insurance: Health, dental, and vision insurance, plus life insurance.
  • Future Security: Retirement savings with a company match.
  • Family Support: Maternity and paternity leave.
  • Rest & Wellbeing: Generous paid time off and mental health counseling reimbursement.

The Logistics
  • Status: Permanent, Full Time
  • Schedule: 40 hours per week, Sunday through Thursday
  • Physical Requirements: Includes standing for long periods, extensive walking, and carrying up to 25 lbs

If you are ready to help us build a culture of worship that transforms lives, we can’t wait to hear from you!
