Puttshack raised $60MOffering a next-level mini golf experience complete with arcade game-inspired courses, scorekeeping ball tracking tech and a full bar, Puttshack pulled in its latest investment of growth capital. Promethean Investments led the round that will allow Puttshack to open up more locations in the U.S. and abroad. Its Oak Brook location is slated to open in fall this year. [Built In Chicago]

mHub announced its first accelerator cohortWith the goal of helping hardware startups develop and commercialize their products, the tech hub is welcoming nine companies to its workspace. It offers an electronics lab, 3D printing, wood shop and more. Some of the participants include Ant Robotics, computer vision company Stroma Vision and cooling tech developer Maxwell Labs. Firmspace to open Chicago coworking spaceThe real estate firm is expecting to fully open its new space at 145 S. Wells St. by May 24. Periscope Equity made three new acquisitionsThe Chicago-based private equity firm bought companies MobiChord, Visage and Mobile Solutions to help companies manage the expenses connected to mobile, telecom and cloud tech.
