Betsperts acquired Bleacher Nation. Chicago-based Betsperts is a sports media and technology company focused on analytics and advice for sports betters. Last week, it acquired Bleacher Nation, a sports publication that covers major Chicago teams, in a cash and equity transaction. The acquisition is Betsperts’s fourth in the last 18 months. Chicago tech companies raised billions in 2022. Built In Chicago complied the 11 largest funding rounds of 2022, totaling more than $2.3 billion in venture funding. KeyCare closed its Series A round. Telehealth company KeyCare secured an additional $3 million in funding to close its Series A round at $27 million. The addendum was raised from new investor Ziegler and two health systems. KeyCare raised the initial $24 million for the round back in August. [Built In Chicago]

Fusion92 acquired a Denver-based company. Chicago-based Fusion92 was founded in 1999 and is a marketing transformation company. Last week, it announced it completed the acquisition of Denver-based Big Footprint, a marketing agency specializing in data and search engines. The acquisition closed in December. [PR Newswire]
