The role requires experience with three-way matching, ERP systems, payment terms, and accounts payable procedures in a fast-paced environment.

The Senior Accountant supports supply chain accounting across U.S. and Canadian operations. Responsibilities include month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, inventory valuation, standard costing, purchase price variance analysis, freight accounting, inventory reserves, vendor rebates, audit support, and ERP corrections. The role partners with Procurement, Operations, Logistics, FP&A, AP, and Corporate Accounting while driving process improvements and resolving financial discrepancies.

Manage full-cycle recruiting across the organization, including sourcing, candidate engagement, interviews, offers, and onboarding. Partner with hiring managers to define talent needs and develop recruitment strategies. Build candidate pipelines using LinkedIn, Boolean search, networking, job boards, and referrals. Maintain accurate ATS records, reporting, and audits while supporting employer branding, candidate experience, and recruiting process improvements.

Prepare account reconciliations, journal entries, financial analyses, variance investigations, month-end close support, and monthly or ad-hoc reports. Ensure financial statements comply with US GAAP, resolve discrepancies, improve accounting processes, support external audits, and contribute to special projects while collaborating with business leaders and cross-functional teams.

Oversee domestic and international logistics operations, including inbound, outbound, and intercompany freight.
