As an FPGA Engineer at Belvedere Trading, you will develop high-performance FPGA systems, collaborate on trading algorithms, and optimize trading system performance.

The Senior Trading Software Engineer will optimize performance-critical code, collaborate with trading engineers, implement low-latency solutions, and enhance trading systems.

Lead and execute cross-functional software development projects with traders, developers, and quants. Define requirements, milestones, timelines, and KPIs; perform cost/benefit analysis; manage stakeholders and upward communication; resolve team conflicts; report metrics to leadership; follow Agile methods; promote project-management best practices. Onsite in Chicago full-time.

Develop and maintain low-latency, high-performance proprietary trading systems. Participate in full SDLC: design, implement, test, and deploy trading applications. Collaborate with teammates, follow coding standards, write automated tests, and learn trading fundamentals through the Belvedere Trading University program.

Participate in desk rotations, assist with daily trading analysis, contribute to quantitative research and electronic trading strategy development, analyze large datasets to inform trading decisions, and receive formal training through Belvedere Trading University.

Work with full-time engineers to design, implement, test, and deploy low-latency, high-performance trading software. Collaborate in teams, participate in the firms BTU learning program, debug complex trading applications, communicate project updates with managers, and apply AI tools to improve development efficiency.

Rotate across trading desks to assist daily trade analysis, collaborate with developers and strategists on trading logic, perform quantitative research and data analysis, and participate in intensive training (BTU) to develop electronic market-making strategies and software development skills.

As a Treasury Specialist, you will manage cash and liquidity, optimize treasury strategies, analyze KPIs, and educate stakeholders effectively.
