Des Plaines Park District

The Des Plaines Park District is a government agency dedicated to enhancing the community by providing quality recreational opportunities, facilities, parks, and open spaces. Established in 1919, the district manages 59 parks and various facilities, including aquatic centers, golf courses, fitness centers, and community programs. Its mission is to enrich lives every day by offering diverse educational, cultural, and leisure activities for all residents of Des Plaines.
