Lawndale Christian Legal Center

Lawndale Christian Legal Center is a nonprofit serving young people involved in the criminal justice system in Chicago’s North Lawndale community. It provides free, holistic criminal defense grounded in restorative justice, combining legal representation with case management, mentoring, mental-health and other social services, education, job training, and diversion programs. Its work aims to restore youth from trauma, strengthen their support networks, and help them move away from the justice system.
