About the Team

Join Zoom's Public Sector sales organization, where we partner with State, Local, and Education (SLED) institutions to modernize how they collaborate, communicate, and connect. As part of this team, you'll champion Zoom's platform to help Florida's higher education institutions unlock more productive, flexible, and mobile-first work environments, from the classroom to the boardroom.

What You'll Do

  • Own and grow a defined territory of Higher Education accounts across Florida, driving net-new logo acquisition while expanding and retaining existing relationships
  • Engage C-suite and senior IT stakeholders, including CIOs, IT Directors, and Provosts, to understand institutional challenges and position Zoom as the strategic solution
  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline by prospecting new opportunities, qualifying leads, and navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Partner with technical and solutions engineering resources to deliver compelling demos, tailored presentations, and proof-of-concept engagements
  • Develop and present proposals, quotes, and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) that clearly articulate business value and ROI
  • Apply consultative, value-based selling techniques, including effective objection handling, to guide opportunities from discovery through close
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to deliver accurate forecasts, surface emerging trends, and recommend strategies to accelerate growth
  • Sell the full Zoom UCaaS portfolio, including Meetings, Phone, Contact Center, and AI-powered collaboration tools, to meet or exceed assigned revenue targets

What We're Looking For

  • Proven track record in B2B or public sector SaaS/UCaaS sales, ideally within Higher Education or SLED markets
  • Experience engaging executive-level buyers and navigating institutional procurement processes (RFPs, state contracts, cooperative purchasing)
  • Strong pipeline management discipline and CRM hygiene (Salesforce preferred)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to thrive in a remote, quota-carrying role
  • Familiarity with Florida's higher education landscape (State University System, Florida College System) is a strong plus
