Nebius Academy (powered by TripleTen) is looking for an experienced, hands-on engineering expert to contribute to our masterclass program, starting with a session on Agentic SDLC.
The initial masterclass should demonstrate how a traditional software development lifecycle can be transformed for agentic development. We are looking for a practitioner who can present a concrete before-and-after case and explain how task specifications, code review, QA, release processes, and human oversight changed when AI agents became part of the engineering workflow.
Beyond the initial session, we are interested in building an ongoing collaboration with the expert and potentially involving them in future masterclasses and educational initiatives, depending on program needs and mutual fit.
What you will do- Deliver technical masterclasses and expert sessions for Nebius Academy, starting with a masterclass on Agentic SDLC.
- Explain the transition from a traditional software development lifecycle to an agent-enabled development process.
- Present a concrete before-and-after case, including changes to task specifications, code review, QA, and release practices.
- Explain how responsibilities are divided between engineers and AI agents, including where human judgment remains essential.
- Share practical experience with MCP, agent configuration, specifications for agents, and review gates for AI-generated code.
- Use materials developed by Nebius Academy or co-create and adapt the content together with our team.
- Collaborate with our curriculum team on the initial masterclass and, where relevant, future expert sessions and educational initiatives.
Must have:
- Current or recent hands-on engineering experience at a well-known, large company that is a leader in its industry.
- Experience as a Staff Engineer, Tech Lead, Head of Engineering, Director of Engineering, CTO, or in a comparable senior technical role. A Senior Engineer from a FAANG-like company may also be considered.
- First-hand experience working with a traditional software development lifecycle before the adoption of AI agents.
- First-hand experience transforming an engineering process for agentic development, beyond the individual use of tools such as Copilot or Cursor.
- Ability to explain a concrete before-and-after transformation, including changes to task definition, code review, QA, releases, and engineering responsibilities.
- Practical experience with MCP, agent configuration, and specifications designed as input for AI agents.
- Experience defining review rules, checklists, or quality gates for AI-generated code.
- Ability to discuss real processes and implementation details without being prevented from doing so by NDA restrictions.
- Continued hands-on involvement in engineering processes, even when working in a leadership or architecture role.

- Experience scaling an agentic engineering practice from one engineer to a whole team or organization.
- Experience overcoming resistance and formalizing a new engineering process across a team.
- Public speaking, workshop facilitation, mentoring, or internal knowledge-sharing experience.
- Experience in a high-velocity engineering environment with frequent releases.
- Experience measuring the impact of agentic development on quality, delivery speed, or other engineering metrics.
- An expert engagement with Nebius Academy, beginning with a masterclass on Agentic SDLC.

- An hourly rate of up to USD 200.
