What you'll do here:

At Cengage, the AI Content Operations Manager role is uniquely positioned to invent the future of AI integration within our organization. You will lead the management of internal AI content and the administration of AI assets across the workforce. Your efforts guarantee that AI resources are organized, scalable, and aligned with enterprise standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and maintaining enterprise AI content repositories, skills registries, timely libraries, and knowledge resources.
  • Setting up operational procedures for the creation, review, maintenance, and retirement of AI content assets.
  • Partnering with AI Governance and Compliance to operationalize approved policies, standards, and mentorship.
  • Developing and maintaining internal documentation, playbooks, wikis, and user resources.
  • Managing AI content quality, consistency, ownership, and lifecycle management.
  • Coordinating communications and change management activities related to AI content and workforce enablement.
  • Identifying duplicate or overlapping content, prompts, skills, and workflows while driving reuse across business units.
  • Supporting reporting, inventory management, and audit readiness for enterprise AI assets.
  • Working with content creators, educators, product teams, and business collaborators to promote consistent adoption of approved practices.

To excel in this role, you must bring a balance of technical proficiency and operational expertise. We are looking for someone who is highly organized and can effectively put into action processes that keep our AI content assets flawless. Necessary skills include:

  • Demonstrated background in AI content management or a similar area.
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies, content creation, and management processes.
  • Ability to develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and user guides.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams.
  • Strong analytical capabilities to track content quality and lifecycle management.
  • Ability to strictly adhere to and operationalize governance policies and standards.
  • Experience with change management and driving adoption of new practices across large organizations.

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location.  Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.

In this position,  you will be eligible to participate in the company’s discretionary incentive bonus program.  This position's bonus target amount, which is not guaranteed and is dependent on individual performance and overall company results among other factors, is provided below.  

15% Annual: Individual Target
$117,100.00 - $152,200.00 USD
