Who We Are

Arrive Logistics is a leading transportation and technology company in North America with plans to grow significantly year over year. Our success is a testament to our remarkable team and what we’re building together. We’re committed to providing employees with a meaningful work experience and have established an award-winning culture that supports personal and career development in a fun, casual, and collaborative environment.

Who We Want

We want an analytical, self-driven, and detail-oriented Claims Analyst to join our growing Arrive Fresh division. You’ll own a portfolio of temperature-controlled and perishable cargo claims, protecting Arrive’s financial position while serving as a responsive, trusted partner to our customers and carriers. You bring hands-on claims experience and a working knowledge of cargo liability, PACA, and food safety rules, and you’re eager to deepen your cold-chain expertise. You move with urgency when perishable freight is at risk, communicate clearly under pressure, and know when to escalate. Your follow-through and collaborative approach will help Arrive Fresh scale and strengthen our reputation as a premier cold-chain partner.

What You'll Do

  • Manage an assigned portfolio of Arrive Fresh cargo claims from initial filing to final resolution, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely outcomes.
  • Investigate and resolve temperature-controlled freight claims involving reefer temperature deviations, pulp readings, transit delays, shelf-life deterioration, and USDA inspection results, applying PACA guidelines and the Carmack Amendment.
  • Negotiate and settle cargo loss, damage, shortage, and contamination claims with shippers, receivers, carriers, and insurance adjusters within established authority levels.
  • Act quickly to mitigate losses on perishable freight by coordinating salvage, redistribution, or disposal in line with food safety and FSMA requirements.
  • Collect and validate claim documentation, including temperature logs, bills of lading, USDA inspections, and invoices, to build defensible positions for recovery and subrogation.
  • Reconcile claim-related receivables and payables, secure releases, and execute assignments of rights to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Track claims data and trends to flag risk areas, recurring issues, and carrier performance concerns, and share findings with Arrive Fresh leadership.
  • Partner with Carrier Sales, Business Delivery, Legal, and Operational Risk to address high-risk shipments and align on dispute resolution.
  • Escalate complex, high-value, or litigated claims to the Arrive Fresh Risk Manager with a clear summary and recommended path forward.
  • Monitor cold-chain compliance and carrier vetting standards for temperature-controlled freight, enforcing reefer unit certifications, temperature-recording protocols, pre-cooling requirements, and FSMA Sanitary Transportation Rule compliance.
  • Oversee operational risk workflows for rejected, stranded, or high-risk perishable loads, coordinating real-time reefer temperature deviation reviews, offsite restacks, and carrier holds or decertifications to prevent financial loss.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date claim records in the TMS and claims management system, and keep customers and carriers informed of claim status.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, or related) or equivalent professional experience preferred.
  • 3+ years of cargo claims management experience, with a heavy emphasis on 3PL, freight brokerage, or cargo insurance environments.
  • Deep knowledge of perishable freight laws and standards, including the Carmack Amendment, PACA (Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act) guidelines, USDA standards, and FSMA (Food Safety Modernization Act).
  • Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and critical thinking skills, with a track record of handling high-value settlements and complex legal disputes.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and intensive attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced logistics environment.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, freight broker TMS platforms, and claims management software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on proactive, collaborative customer and carrier relationship management.

Your Arrive Experience

We intend on topping many more of those lists in the years to come, but we’re not in it for the trophies. We’re committed to culture because it keeps us connected to each other and invested in our shared success while having a blast along the way. Our employee-founded resource groups create communities within Arrive’s walls, including Women in Logistics, Emerging Professionals, Prisms, Black Logistics Group, Salute and Unidos.
