As an Associate Business Systems Analyst, you will act as a crucial bridge between the IT development group and business units, performing business analysis, technical research, and software development activities under the direction of senior technology leaders. This role provides exposure to enterprise systems, modern engineering practices, and emerging AI-driven solution frameworks. You will collaborate with software architects, developers, and business stakeholders to document workflows, analyze existing applications, and contribute to the development and testing of software and automation solutions. This role offers a great opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic environment. In this position, you will report to the Manager, Product Software Engineering and work a hybrid schedule (2 days from the office, 3 days remotely).

Responsibilities: Business and Systems Analysis:
  • Assist in analyzing business processes, system workflows, and existing applications to identify gaps, dependencies, and improvement opportunities.

  • Prepare clear, well-structured documentation—including diagrams, workflow charts, and written summaries—suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Support senior architects in evaluating legacy systems, integration points, and modernization requirements.

Technical Research and Documentation:
  • Conduct research on technologies, frameworks, and industry trends as directed by senior team members.

  • Produce structured reports summarizing findings, recommendations, and potential applicability to business needs.

  • Participate in the exploration of Agentic AI concepts and related solution patterns.

Software Development and Prototyping:
  • Develop scripts, utilities, and prototypes to automate tasks, validate concepts, or support engineering initiatives.

  • Assist in the creation of data processing routines for ingestion, transformation, and integration with internal systems.

  • Contribute to the development of automated testing, monitoring, and alerting components.

AI and Automation Support:
  • Support the development and integration of AI-driven features, including OCR, generative AI, and internal agentic AI frameworks.

  • Apply prompt engineering and AI-assisted techniques to enhance product functionality and internal workflows.

Collaboration and Quality Assurance:
  • Work closely with software engineers to ensure clarity of requirements, workflows, and technical specifications.

  • Assist in functional testing, validation, and verification of software components.

  • Provide supplemental documentation and clarification to support development and QA activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Technical Competencies:
  • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, C#/.NET Core/.NET Framework, RESTful APIs, and Visual Studio.

  • Familiarity with:

  • SQL Server, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies

  • HTML5, CSS, JSON, XML.

  • Azure cloud services.

  • Selenium and Power Automate.

  • Microservices, event-driven architectures, and automated testing concepts.

AI and Data Skills:
  • Foundational understanding of AI technologies, including prompt engineering and generative AI integration.

  • Ability to write scripts or code for data ingestion, transformation, and system integration.


Professional Skills:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, concise documentation.

  • Demonstrated analytical thinking, attention to detail, and willingness to learn from senior team members.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks with guidance.

  • Must be able to work for any US company without restrictions now or in the future.

Compensation:

$62,900.00 - $107,300.00 USD

Compensation range listed is based on primary location of the position.  Actual base salary offer is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skills, experience and actual hiring location. Your recruiter can share more information about the specific offer for the job location during the hiring process.
