We are seeking a Hybrid Role for Business Analyst - Digital Products (mobile, web, and internal apps) who is passionate about building high-quality mobile experiences that solve real operational problems. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and working closely with developers on the development and implementation of mobile features from concept to release. You will play a key role in project execution, version and feature control, and customer experience. Those decisions directly impact business outcomes.

Critical Job Functions:

  • Design and drive the development of the features that drive the operations efficiency and help transition Roadrunner into premium and industry leader.
  • Collaborate with users and operations and translate product requirements into feature sets, delivering value to Roadrunner.
  • Take ownership of features throughout the product lifecycle—from discovery and implementation to release and iteration.
  • Contribute to improving mobile development processes, tooling, and standards.
  • Providing overall process and systems analysis and design support.
  • Clarifying change requests with the business to ensure there is enough information to initiate the change request.
  • Executing functional tests and evaluating results to ensure accuracy and quality of complex system changes.
  • Providing training and operational support.
  • Providing demos to the end users as required.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong driver with a quality mindset and a very structured and methodological approach.
  • Familiarity with design thinking, user-centric design, and attention to detail
  • Experience with the latest developments and tools in QA for mobile and web development.
  • Great collaboration and negotiation skills
  • At least 2years of experience with business analysis or requirements definition in a trucking, logistics, or supply chain-related business with a focus on mobile technology.
  • Experience with Microsoft DevOps, Atlassian Jira, or similar project tracking software.
  • Understanding of modern technology and its capabilities
  • Curious mind with a never-ending drive to improve user experience through software and process improvements.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Minimum of 3 days per week on site, either in the Head Office or Roadrunner Terminal in Illinois
  • Occasional Travel is required.

Compensation:

  • The compensation for this role is $70,000 to $85,000 per year.
