SALARY:  $84,800-$100,700, bonus eligible

ROLE SUMMARY:  

Have a knack for numbers? Perfect. Interpreting sales data with analytical takeaways and recommendations is an integral role within our Sales department. At AB, a Business Analyst is a highly visible position, working closely with top leaders of the organization and various cross-functional work groups. This is a highly specialize role with a plethora of challenges and opportunities to improve operational efficiencies and sales productivity.

A Business Analyst supports Field Sales and other Sales functions with fact based data to make informed decisions and recommendations. In addition, a Business Analyst is tasked with various projects utilizing Sales analysis to identify sustainable and profitable solutions. Through detailed research, our Business Analysts have the opportunity to lead our company in exciting directions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sales Reporting & Analytical Support: Deliver routine sales reports, ad hoc analyses, and in-depth assessments of sales, market share, and distribution trends to highlight performance opportunities and risks. Provide actionable insights to support the Manager and regional leadership team.

  • Presentation & Communication Materials: Develop and maintain clear, impactful sales presentations and supporting materials for retailer meetings, strategic planning sessions, and internal communications.

  • AI Tools & Process Adoption: Support the implementation and ongoing use of AI-driven tools and processes in daily and weekly workflows to improve efficiency and decision-making.

  • Training & Knowledge Sharing: Assist in training regional teams and management on performance monitoring tools, helping them better understand competitive threats and market dynamics.

  • Strategic Planning Support: Contribute to the development and execution of the one-year strategic plan (1YP) for the Regional Sales department, supporting growth and operational excellence initiatives.

  • Data-Driven Culture: Help foster a culture of accountability and data-driven decision-making by promoting the use of key metrics and insights across the team

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be local and willing to be onsite in Lisle, IL

  • Analytical Experience: 2+ years of experience analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to management or business partners.

  • Business Acumen: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an understanding of how data-driven decisions impact business performance.

  • Data Skills: Comfortable working with large datasets, managing ambiguity, and translating complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations.

  • Communication: Ability to present data and insights in a compelling, easy-to-understand manner for various audiences.

  • Technical Skills: Experience with dashboard design and business intelligence/data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel).

  • Growth Mindset: Willingness and ability to relocate within the U.S. for future career development opportunities.
