Job Description

The Business Analyst II is responsible for effectively managing project scope, communications and prioritization of milestones and tasks for multiple Medium-High scope projects involving various stakeholder groups. The Business Analyst II will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for systems, providing support to business users and acting as a liaison between technical and business users.

* Extract and document functional and technical requirements from various stakeholders

* Ability to thoroughly understand tool or application functionality and execute configurations

* Document use cases as well as coordinate and participate in testing efforts

* Define and document implementation and project plans

* Coordinate issue resolution and manage expectations across stakeholders, management, vendors and project team

* Prepare and implement training programs

* Contribute to product roadmaps for assigned systems, including upgrades, enhancements and integrations

* Ability to assess business processes to identify areas for improvement and drive appropriate changes

* Contribute to business cases and cost benefit analysis for new systems, features, or operational processes as required

* Provide input to project team to drive informed decision making and accountability

* Manage relationships with vendors and stakeholders

* Create and deliver presentations for various audiences

* Demonstrate knowledge of system architecture to design features and identify dependencies

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience require

* 3 or more years of Business Analyst work or relevant business process experience

* Hands-on experience with packaged software products required. Implementation experience is strongly preferred

* Experience leading technical projects required

* Basic knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile

* MS Office skills including experience with Visio

* Excellent analytical, planning, problem solving, and organizational skills

* Experience identifying, reviewing and analyzing data trends

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills

* Flexible and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast paced, high volume environment

* High adaptability to rapid and frequent change

* Outgoing personality with a work hard / play hard attitude is a plus
