About the Role:
As a Business Development Representative at Cargado, you’ll be at the forefront of our growth strategy, playing a critical role in building relationships with prospects and driving sales opportunities. This is an incredible opportunity for ambitious individuals to fine-tune their communication and sales skills in the fast-paced logistics and freight industry. This is a hybrid role, based out of our Chicago, IL office.

What You’ll Do:

  • Drive sales growth by identifying and connecting with prospects through creative outbound messaging and cold outreach.

  • Quickly engage and follow up with inbound leads, emails, and chat inquiries.

  • Develop strong relationships with contacts and prospects to build trust and enthusiasm for Cargado’s platform.

  • Schedule and coordinate meetings between qualified prospects and sales representatives.

  • Collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams to assess lead quality and improve conversion rates.

  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, handling the early stages of the sales process with precision.

  • Research and prioritize target account lists strategically.

  • Advocate for Cargado by articulating the value of our platform and its role in transforming cross-border logistics.

  • Consistently exceed goals for qualified opportunities and contribute to team success.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2+ year of sales or related experience.

  • Experience in prospecting, cold calling, or similar roles.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

  • Motivated, goal-oriented, and self-driven personality.

  • Highly organized with strong time management skills.

  • Quick learner who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Bonus: Familiarity with logistics, freight, or cross-border trade industries.
