Summary of Action:
The Business Improvement (BI) Systems Analyst & Executive Support provides flexible, hands-on administrative and technical support across the entire Business Improvement team. This entry-level, growth-oriented role blends day-to-day administrative coordination for the BI Director and team with growing ownership of Monday.com and internal server system upkeep, basic automation building, and IT backup support. The Analyst acts as a utility player for the department, helping keep projects, systems, and daily operations running smoothly while building toward more advanced systems and coding responsibilities over time.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Team & Administrative Support
- Serve as a flexible administrative resource for the BI Director and all Business Improvement team members, including the Project Manager, IT Lead, and Workflow Automation Specialist.
- Coordinate meetings, calendars, and communications for the department. Assist with department documentation, reporting, and other administrative tasks as assigned. Administrative support for the BI Director may include both internal company support and external industry trade association-related support.
- Assist with company licensing setup across the country. Assist with company publicity and achievement awards.
2. Systems Support & Monday.com
- Learn and maintain a working knowledge of Monday.com and other core BI systems, tools, and processes.
- Perform basic system maintenance, upkeep, and quality control (QC) checks on Monday.com boards, automations, and workflows.
- Build and maintain basic Monday.com automations and support small-scale efficiency enhancements to existing systems and processes.
- Assist in writing and maintaining training materials and “how-to” documentation for team systems and processes.
3. IT & Technical Backup Support
- Serve as backup support for IT setup and device and system administration, including IT subscription management, and new-hire equipment setup and routine troubleshooting.
- Support basic coding, scripting, and system enhancement projects under the guidance of the IT Lead and Workflow Automation Specialist.
- Escalate more complex technical issues to the IT Lead or Workflow Automation Specialist while handling routine requests directly.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced, team-support environment.
- 1+ years of experience in an administrative, IT support, or entry-level coding/automation role, or equivalent education/training.
- Basic knowledge of IT support and device administration; some coding or scripting experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Monday.com, Zapier, JavaScript, Python, SQL, HTML, CSS, and/or React is a plus. The ability to develop prompt engineering skills and a strong willingness to learn new systems quickly are required.
- Strong organizational skills with a “check-and-balance” mindset for QC checks, deadlines, and documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer literacy is required.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Classification:
Salary position with discretionary bonus opportunities.
Work Hours and Location:
Batavia, IL office location with discretionary remote work. Some local and minimal interstate travel for meetings, training, conventions, project support, or site visits could occur. The typical work week is Monday–Friday, full time, daytime hours, with some flexibility based on department needs.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
The work environment is primarily office-based or home office-based but can include construction sites and construction or supply yards. Both indoor and outdoor environments may be encountered. Physical demands can include walking, sitting, standing, lifting, bending, climbing, and crouching. This role involves close collaboration with the Director and other team members, engaging in both independent tasks and group projects.
