The Opportunity
As a Cybersecurity Intern, you will immerse yourself in the dynamic world of cybersecurity, gaining exposure to essential practices and methodologies within our Internal Firm Services practice. You will support teams by participating in projects that focus on protecting computer systems and networks from unauthorized access and damage. As an Intern, you will engage in learning and development, observing professional work environments while contributing to the team's success through basic tasks and research. You will adopt a learning mindset, actively listen, and express ideas clearly, all while appreciating diverse perspectives and building commercial awareness.

Responsibilities
- Supporting cybersecurity initiatives by assisting in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures
- Participating in security incident management and contributing to the analysis of potential threats
- Assisting in the design and review of security architecture to enhance system protection
- Engaging in vulnerability assessments to identify and address security defects
- Collaborating with teams to apply Agile methodology in cybersecurity projects
- Utilizing Azure Data Factory for orchestrating and automating data workflows
- Contributing to the development of cybersecurity strategies to improve infrastructure resilience
- Gathering and analyzing data to support cybersecurity compliance efforts
- Observing and learning from experienced professionals to gain exposure to cybersecurity practices
- Applying a learning mindset to develop personal skills and understanding of cybersecurity frameworks
What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree
- These internship positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Cyber security, Data Analytics, Business Analytics
- Preferred cumulative GPA: 3.3
- Preferred major GPA: 3.3
- Leveraging AI to create efficiencies, innovate ways of working and deliver distinctive outcomes
- Participating in cybersecurity projects within a professional services environment
- Utilizing Agile methodology to enhance project management skills
- Developing cybersecurity policies and strategies for internal firm services
- Engaging in active listening and accepting feedback to improve performance
The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
