Job Description

We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Program Manager! ​


In this role, you’ll oversee all phases of client programs from inception to completion, ensuring smooth execution and measurable results. As CLEAResult partners with leading gas utilities to deliver innovative energy efficiency and decarbonization initiatives, we need a dedicated leader to manage gas-focused programs. You’ll play a key role in navigating the growing complexity of utility portfolios, ensuring regulatory compliance, seamless program delivery, and exceptional client satisfaction.


While this role will be done primarily remote, there is an expectation of client site visits primarily in Naperville IL and throughout the Nicor service territory. The successful candidate will ideally reside in Northern IL, Northwest IN or South WI.


You’re a great fit if you can… ​​

  • Manage multiple contracts and budgets totaling $2M–$3M annually.
  • Negotiate, execute, and oversee contracts to ensure compliance and client satisfaction.
  • Lead and develop program staff while directing cross-functional teams to achieve deliverables.
  • Coordinate resources across engineering, marketing, and software to drive program success.
  • Monitor performance, report results, and maintain high standards of customer service.
  • Review technical documents and compile data for invoicing and reporting.
  • Identify and escalate program issues promptly while recommending process improvements.​

Exciting candidates will have…​​

  • 5–8 years of program management experience, with at least 2 years in people management. Program Management experience in Energy Efficiency is a plus.
  • Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service and build strong client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with a positive attitude.
  • Skilled at analyzing historical data to develop strategic plans and contingency solutions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); Salesforce/CRM experience is an asset.

Targeted Salary:

$90,000-$105,000 + Bonus


DOT Requirements

If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.

$90,900.00 - $136,300.00
