Job Description

The Web Developer is a key member of the IT department who will be vital part of the implementation project team and is responsible for the overall technical design and build of the custom elements for projects for the firm. He/she will work closely with the Web Architect to make sure that all web applications perform securely, reliably, are constructed with a high level of quality, and are able to perform at scale. The Web Developer is responsible for providing thought leadership to business stakeholders and developers in pursuit of these goals. Additionally, the developer must be the balance point between maintaining existing technology and the implementation of cutting edge enhancements that satisfy business needs.
Specific Responsibilities
•    Responsible for design, coding, testing, debugging, documentation, delivery and support of both Web and Client Server Applications.
•    Manage the efficient and effective applications and tools consistent with established specifications and business requirements.
•    Provides technical support for user issues; troubleshoots problems and takes corrective action on a timely, effective basis.
•    Ability to adapt quickly to fast-paced changing environment and priorities.
•    Motivation to take ownership of tasks and the determination to drive them to completion.
•    Responsible for the administration and maintenance of the firm’s intranet.
•    Liaising with Marketing and other teams to continuously improve the Firm’s Intranet.
•    Research, advice and design the backbone architecture of front-end products: Web UI, mobile UI, ad units.
•    Design, prototype, and/or implement new user-facing features in their products.
•    Specify or help to design/build reusable libraries and frameworks that support their products.
•    Optimize web applications to maximize speed and scale.
•    Support diverse clients from high powered desktop computers to small footprint mobile devices.
•    Co-team with the Data and Web Architects to produce a technical specification for custom development and systems integration requirements
•    Produce a detailed technical design document to match the solution design specifications
•    Complete/oversee the custom development and quality assurance efforts for custom work
•    Participate and lead, when needed, the project meetings with the customer
•    Manage development designs across multiple projects to meet project and customer required time lines.
•    Provide Customer Training as required
•    Participate in internal projects as required
•    Maintain current .NET certifications and obtain new certifications as needed

Qualifications

•    5-7 years of .net experience in C#,
•    SharePoint - CMS (content Management System)
•    Sitecore experience “a bonus”.
•    SomePoint with SharePoint Intranet. Mobile experience will be “a bonus”.
•    Java Jquery, Angular, Bootstrap. Javascript.
•    Some backend experience, most have UX UI.
•    Some modeling wire framing indexing solar etc. is a bonus.
