Chicago White Sox Charities (CWSC), the non-profit arm of the Chicago White Sox, is looking for dependable, enthusiastic, communicative, highly motivated, and hardworking game day sellers. to promote and sell our various day-of-game fundraising initiatives including but not limited to Sox Split 50/50 and car raffles.

Sox Split is a charity raffle program where tickets are sold throughout the ballpark (and online) during every White Sox home game. One lucky fan takes home half of the net proceeds from that night's raffle ticket sales, with the other half benefiting CWSC. The Car Raffle offers tickets for sale in-park (and online) during White Sox home games. Fans purchase tickets for the chance to win a White Sox themed car at the end of the season! Both raffle programs benefit Chicago White Sox Charities.
Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Good customer service skills, and a positive attitude is a must!
  • Must be comfortable working with technology.
  • You need to be outgoing and able to approach guests; selling in front of crowds is required (in seating areas).
  • Rate Field is an open-air ballpark so you must be comfortable working in all types of weather
  • Must understand the timing/pacing of baseball
  • Must be available to work games throughout the season – must be available to work at least 50% of all games

Program Details:

  • Sellers start at $16.60/hour and work on average 4 hours per game
  • Opportunity to work at least 50% of home games
  • This program requires moving throughout the ballpark to engage with fans to support our fundraising efforts.
  • This is a day of game position, including potential postseason
  • Fundraising initiatives will run from gates open until the end of the 9th inning unless otherwise specified
