Key responsibilities for the position include:
Owning key client relationships and foster trusted partnerships to drive client satisfaction of current programs and ongoing account growth
- Build and grow business partnerships at senior levels of client organizations (C-suite/VP/Director), with both technology and business leaders
- Define and oversee client relationship management within the program team
- Join sales team to close contracts through functions such as proposal strategy, pitch approach, contract writing, and negotiation strategy
- Partner with Sales to navigate the client organization to build new relationships, broaden areas of impact, and open doors to new opportunities
- Operate as ultimate business consultant to the client, bringing industry expertise and thought leadership
Overseeing Delivery Team to execute profitable engagements that create value for both the clients and WWT, with meaningful business outcomes
- Own the program strategy and shape the solutions we provide to our clients
- Serve as the primary account-level financial lead and hold accountability in meeting project budget expectations and growth goals
- Guide delivery teams in reporting and delivery updates, ensuring the client recognizes the value of the work, escalations are made as needed, and more
- Manage WWT Team across the lifecycle (pre-sales, strategy to delivery, launch, and continued post planning of the engagement
- Coach and mentor program leads and drive team health
Serving as the ultimate lead of the client program, taking accountability for account health and business performance
- Operate as the most senior lead of the client program (encompassing multiple projects within it), and coordinate and escalate within WWT as needed
- Provide regular status and financial reporting to WWT leadership
- Lead and coordinate across internal organizational lines, ensuring we present as one unified team to the client
Identify and pursue opportunities that create additional value for clients and WWT
- Utilize industry best practices while fully understanding the client goals while educating around industry challenges
- Proactively providing solutions and ideas
- Create thought leadership collateral or deliver key presentations for internal or external audiences
Partner with sales and delivery teams to identify robust offerings that can scale both vertically and horizontally
- Bring forward industry leadership and best practice solutions
- Help create re-usable customer-facing collateral
Qualifications
- 15+ years of applicable experience, including 3+ years as a Digital Account Director, Digital Project Director or client-facing consultant at the Manager or Sr. Manager level.
- Proven track record of establishing and growing high-value relationships and partnerships with customers.
- Experience presenting/pitching strategic recommendations and complex concepts to C-level executives or business owners.
- Experience leading complex digital transformation programs including but not limited to AI, Ecommerce, Mobile applications, Websites, Loyalty, Business Intelligence, and Point of Sale.
- Highly skilled at leading diverse cross-functional teams to create, implement and evolve technical solutions to drive tangible, measurable client results.
- Experience with Agile development practices and collaborating with software development teams through the product life cycle.
- Experience working at a digital consultancy or agency.
- Held responsibility for project financials/budget and understanding P&L.
Working conditions
- Travel as needed to client and WWT sites (approximately 20% or less)
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Organizational Relationships
- This position reports to the Senior Client Solutions Director within the digital organization.
Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $175,000 to $200,000 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that are not included in the base pay.

What will you be doing?
The Digital & AI Platforms organization within World Wide Technology is seeking a Client Solutions Director to play a vital role in the cultivation of client relationships, the delivery of strategic digital and AI projects for our clients, and the growth of these programs.
This person will build strategic relationships with our senior-level clients in both technology and business parts of the organization within key targeted accounts in WWT Digital & AI Platforms. In addition to owning key client relationships, the Client Solutions Director will coordinate with our clients, digital strategists, developers, technologists, project managers, creative directors, delivery leads, business analysts, and end-users to strategize and execute best-in-class solutions for our clients. A successful candidate will ensure our teams deliver customer-first service, meaningful and profitable engagements for WWT, identify areas of growth, sell additional services, build long-lasting strategic relationships, and deliver successful outcomes time after time.
Job Responsibilities
- Leads and evangelizes any internal initiatives to drive continuous improvement
- Regularly assesses team health and staffing levels across the DPD practice; collaborates with peers and Managing Director to address under- or over-staffing based on team capacity
- Oversees all Solution-led programs
- Defines and executes processes for program oversight, such as weekly Program Reviews
- Builds processes for Program Health assessment and ongoing success
- Regularly reports program status to Managing Directors
- Participates in monthly and quarterly performance/business reviews (as needed) for digital accounts under purview
- Closely partners with Services leaders within and outside the solution practice to ensure client success, build stronger partnerships, and define new cross-functional opportunities for accounts
- Owns key client relationships and fosters trusted partnerships with senior stakeholders
- Supports Delivery teams by serving as a point of escalation on programs
- Builds and maintains senior-level client relationships within strategic accounts
- Supports in identifying and pursuing opportunities for account growth, such as cross-channel WWT offerings
