Slipstream Life Sciences is a life sciences-exclusive consultancy providing strategic advisory, CRM implementation, and managed services to emerging and enterprise pharma and biotech organizations. Our Salesforce practice partners with clients to design and deliver commercial CRM solutions built on Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud, including Agentforce-enabled use cases across field and home office teams.

We are looking for a Commercial CRM Business Analyst to join our Salesforce practice and support pre-sales and delivery for Agentforce Life Sciences Cloud opportunities. This is a functional BA role, not an architecture role. You will own requirements, process design, and stakeholder communication on client engagements, and work hand-in-hand with our Solution Architects and developers to translate business needs into system design.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with a commercial pharma CRM platform (Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault CRM, Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud, or IQVIA OCE) and a working understanding of how commercial field and home office teams actually use that system day to day, not just the platform's configuration options.

Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery and requirements-gathering sessions with client stakeholders across commercial functions (Sales, MSL, KAM, Payer/Market Access, FRM, and related field and home office personas).
  • Translate business requirements into user stories, process flows, and functional design documentation that Architects and developers can build from.
  • Serve as the day-to-day functional lead on client engagements, running working sessions, managing stakeholder questions, and keeping business and technical teams aligned.
  • Partner with Solution Architects to validate that proposed designs reflect real commercial field workflows and won't create adoption friction.
  • Support pre-sales activities, including scoping calls, discovery workshops, and effort estimation for Agentforce Life Sciences Cloud opportunities.
  • Author and facilitate UAT scripts, test scenarios, and training materials aligned to commercial use cases.
  • Document current-state and future-state process maps for territory management, call planning, account/customer 360, sample management, and related commercial workflows.
  • Identify where Agentforce agents can be applied to commercial workflows (e.g., call prep, next-best-action, insights summarization) and translate those opportunities into requirements.
  • Communicate clearly and credibly with client stakeholders ranging from field end users to commercial operations leadership.
  • Collaborate with project managers to manage scope, timeline, and change requests across the engagement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience supporting commercial CRM for pharma or biotech, with hands-on experience in at least one of: Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault CRM, Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud, or IQVIA OCE.
  • Solid understanding of pharma commercial operations and how CRM supports the day-to-day work of common field and home office personas, including MSLs, Sales/Reps, Key Account Managers (KAM), Payer/Market Access teams, and Field Reimbursement Managers (FRM).
  • Demonstrated experience as a functional Business Analyst: requirements gathering, process documentation, user story writing, and UAT support.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to lead client conversations and build trust with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working alongside Solution Architects and developers on system design, without owning the architecture yourself.
  • U.S. based; authorized to work in the United States.
  • Comfortable working in a remote, client-facing consulting environment with travel as needed for client engagements.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with Salesforce Agentforce, particularly Agentforce for Life Sciences.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Life Sciences Cloud Accredited Professional, Business Analyst).
  • Experience supporting a Veeva-to-Salesforce migration or CRM platform transition
  • Familiarity with commercial pharma compliance considerations (sample management, HCP interaction rules, state reporting).

Benefits

  • 401k match
  • Comprehensive group health, dental, vision benefits
  • Life insurance/LTD
  • Discretionary PTO
