The Content and Digital Marketing Manager leads the strategy, adaptation, and digital activation of content for U.S. Wealth Management across social media, web, CRM, and integrated campaigns. This role evaluates existing thought leadership, research, market commentary, business announcements, and other source content to identify the most relevant audience messages and translate them into channel-appropriate digital experiences that strengthen brand visibility, executive presence, client engagement, and business growth.

The manager partners with senior leaders, experts, marketers, and cross-functional teams to determine how content should be positioned, packaged, distributed, and optimized across digital channels. The role requires strong editorial judgment, digital channel expertise, and the ability to turn complex source material into concise, compelling content for distinct audiences and platforms.

Digital Content Strategy and Planning

  • Lead the U.S. Wealth Management digital content and social media strategy in alignment with business priorities, audience needs, brand standards, and channel objectives.
  • Own the editorial calendar and coordinate the activation of content across social media, web, CRM, integrated campaigns, events, sponsorships, and partnerships.
  • Review thought leadership, research, market insights, podcasts, business announcements, and other source material to identify relevant themes, audience opportunities, and digital applications.
  • Recommend the appropriate audience, channel, format, message, and timing for each content opportunity.
  • Build coordinated content journeys that connect related assets and channels rather than treating each deliverable as a stand-alone request.
  • Identify opportunities to extend the value and useful life of existing content through repurposing, sequencing, personalization, and ongoing digital distribution.

Content Adaptation and Digital Activation

  • Translate approved source content into channel-specific assets, including social posts, executive LinkedIn content, email and CRM copy, website descriptions, landing-page content, campaign messaging, promotional copy, and advisor-facing materials.
  • Distill complex wealth, investment, business ownership, and planning topics into concise, accessible messages while preserving the integrity and intent of the original material.
  • Develop clear content briefs that define the audience, objective, core message, channel requirements, calls to action, and desired business outcome.
  • Ensure content is adapted appropriately for each platform rather than duplicating the same language across social, web, email, and CRM.
  • Collaborate with experts, creative teams, agencies, and marketing partners to move content efficiently from source material through approval, production, publishing, and measurement.

Leadership Support/Employer Branding

  • Serve as the LinkedIn ambassador and social media advisor for U.S. Wealth Management leaders, providing strategic guidance on profile positioning, content themes, audience engagement, and platform best practices.
  • Help leaders activate approved thought leadership, media coverage, announcements, events, and business priorities through authentic social content that reflects their individual voice and expertise.
  • Partner with employer brand, communications, and talent teams to onboard newly hired and appointed executives, including LinkedIn profile guidance, introductory content, executive voice development, and an initial social engagement plan.
  • Develop coaching, resources, templates, and recommendations that give leaders the confidence and tools to build a consistent, credible, and brand-aligned social presence.

Digital Publishing, Governance, and Quality

  • Manage social publishing, website updates, CRM and email coordination, content approvals, and related digital workflows in partnership with enterprise channel teams.
  • Apply strong editorial judgment to ensure digital content is clear, concise, accurate, audience-appropriate, and aligned with the underlying source material.
  • Ensure deliverables meet regulatory, legal, compliance, brand, accessibility, and enterprise requirements.
  • Maintain content standards, templates, and digital asset organization as applicable.
  • Manage agency, creative partner, vendor, and internal stakeholder relationships to deliver coordinated, high-quality work efficiently.
  • Balance planned editorial priorities with timely market, leadership, and business opportunities.

Measurement and Optimization

  • Establish performance measures that connect content and digital activity to audience engagement, channel behavior, traffic quality, lead activity, and broader business objectives.
  • Develop dashboards and executive summaries that communicate results, insights, and recommended actions.
  • Use audience, channel, and content-performance data to refine messaging, formats, distribution, calls to action, and content journeys.
  • Test and optimize digital content elements such as headlines, summaries, subject lines, calls to action, formats, and publishing cadence.
  • Apply performance insights to editorial planning and future digital activation decisions.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital marketing, communications, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Five to eight years of experience in digital content marketing, social media marketing, digital channel management, lifecycle or email marketing, integrated marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to review complex source material and translate it into concise, audience-focused content for social media, web, email, CRM, and other digital channels.
  • Experience adapting one core piece of content or thought leadership into multiple channel-specific assets and audience touchpoints.
  • Strong editorial judgment, including the ability to identify the central message, audience relevance, supporting proof points, and appropriate call to action.
  • Strong understanding of digital content strategy, channel conventions, user behavior, content journeys, and audience segmentation.
  • Experience working with content management systems, social publishing platforms, email or CRM marketing tools, and digital analytics.
  • Ability to interpret performance data and use insights to improve content packaging, distribution, engagement, and business impact.
  • Strong editing and concise copy-development skills, with the ability to preserve the meaning and credibility of expert-authored source content.
  • Proven experience managing multiple stakeholders, approvals, deadlines, and interconnected digital deliverables.
  • Experience working in a regulated industry or a complex corporate environment.

Preferred

  • Experience in financial services, wealth management, banking, asset management, or another industry involving complex or highly regulated subject matter.
  • Experience activating research, thought leadership, executive perspectives, podcasts, media coverage, events, or business announcements across multiple digital channels.
  • Familiarity with web publishing, search optimization, accessibility, metadata, email marketing
  • Experience partnering with executives, experts, compliance teams, creative teams, agencies, and enterprise channel owners.
  • Experience supporting integrated campaigns and connecting digital content activity to client engagement, lead generation, or business development objectives.
