About KLDiscovery

KLDiscovery is a leading provider of eDiscovery software and services combining unparalleled client service, deep domain expertise, and modern digital tools to help clients navigate complex legal, regulatory, and data challenges

(Individual Contributor level, remote anywhere in the US preferred)

The Role

KLDiscovery is seeking a Content Marketing Manager to execute and support content marketing and content strategy initiatives that bring our brand story to life across web, email, social, and sales collateral. This is a hands-on execution role for a versatile writer and content creator who can adapt tone and format across channels while maintaining consistency with KLDiscovery's brand voice and style.

This role exists primarily to support integrated marketing campaigns. You'll flex across formats on demand — ad copy, webinar abstracts and promotion, email nurture cadences, landing pages, and other campaign assets — turning around content quickly to keep campaigns on schedule.

You will own day-to-day content production, including social media content, working closely with designers, editors, digital marketers, and subject matter experts across the Marketing team. You are comfortable using generative AI tools to accelerate ideation and drafting, while applying sound editorial judgment to ensure every AI-assisted output meets KLDiscovery's standards for accuracy, tone, and brand consistency before it ships.

This role reports into the VP of Product Marketing and Content Strategy.

What You’ll Do:

Campaign Content Support

  • Write and adapt copy across integrated campaign touchpoints, including paid and organic ad copy, webinar abstracts and promotional copy, email nurture and cadence copy, and campaign landing pages

  • Turn around campaign content requests quickly, working closely with the digital marketing and campaigns team to hit launch timelines

  • Flex across formats as campaign needs shift, acting as a versatile utility writer

Content Creation and Copywriting

  • Execute and support marketing communications, content marketing, and content strategy initiatives working closely with the marketer team and other KLDiscovery team members

  • Create concise and compelling B2B content for a professional audience, including website content, blog posts, landing pages, press releases, email campaigns, event content, video scripts, internal communications, white papers, eBooks, and advertisements

  • Craft content for different channels with the ability to adapt writing to fit the audience and medium

Social Media Content

  • Own day-to-day development and posting of content across KLDiscovery's social media channels

  • Adapt core brand messaging into channel-native social copy and creative direction

  • Monitor social engagement and partner with digital marketing to identify optimization opportunities

AI- Driven Content Creation and Optimization

  • Leverage generative AI tools to support content creation, research, and ideation

  • Apply prompt engineering techniques to produce on-brand, high-quality outputs

  • Edit and refine AI-generated content to meet standards for tone, accuracy, and clarity

  • Stay current on generative AI tools and best practices, flagging new use cases to the Senior Content Marketing Manager and broader team

  • Brand Consistency and Collaboration

  • Coordinate content and collaborate across the global Marketing team to ensure all content is consistent across channels, leveraging KLDiscovery’s Copywriting Style Guide

  • Coordinate with internal subject matter experts on technical offerings, ensuring collateral is accurate in terms of features and benefits

  • Navigate the internal creation/design/review/approval/translation workflow, contributing the best approach for different mediums

Performance Reporting

  • Collaborate on the collection, analysis, and reporting of content performance data (KPIs) and analytics

  • Identify trends and make optimization recommendations

  • Identify solutions to and execute on complex, detailed requests from internal stakeholders

  • Other duties as assigned

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or similar discipline preferred but not required

  • 3+ years of content marketing experience in B2B, SaaS, or legal technology

  • Must have exceptional English speaking and writing skills

  • Ability to write clear, concise, on-brand copy while telling a story that compels the reader to action

  • Working knowledge of social media platforms and channel-specific content best practices

  • Experience using generative AI tools for content development, including effective prompt engineering and editing AI-generated content to ensure accuracy and on-brand outputs

  • Effective listening, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to be flexible and work with ambiguity, use sound judgment, and act with confidence

  • Ability to take direction and metabolize edits for current and future content development

  • Self-starter and problem solver who understands how to prioritize projects and meet deadlines

  • Solid proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

  • Strong project management and organizational skills

  • Candidates are required to submit samples of relevant work or a writing portfolio

Preferred

  • Experience writing for a legal or technical audience

  • Experience managing brand social media channels or social content calendars

  • Familiarity with content performance and analytics tools
