Code3 is an integrated marketing agency, powering business growth for digital disruptors and Fortune 500 leaders alike. Our power is at the intersection of Connected Media, Creative and Commerce – that’s what is in our DNA. By harvesting insights and utilizing audience data, we work with our clients to develop scroll-stopping content and creative that performs and elevates the brands we work with across all digital media platforms.

Our people are energized by challenges and sprint to find unorthodox solutions. We plan, activate and measure as one team, and we’re not afraid to push boundaries and test our way to success. Coders are Relentless, Gritty, Nimble humans who are always striving to be better.

The Opportunity
Code3 is looking for an experienced, well-connected recruiter to help us identify and engage exceptional talent as our hiring needs evolve.

This isn't a traditional full-time recruiting role. We're looking for a fractional recruiting partner who loves the hunt: someone who knows how to map a talent market, identify great people who may not be actively looking, and create enough interest to start a conversation.

You'll work closely with Code3's People team and hiring leaders across the agency, with a particular focus on proactively sourcing talent for priority roles.

What You'll Do
  • Proactively source and engage high-quality candidates for open and anticipated roles
  • Build targeted talent maps and pipelines across digital media, commerce, creative, analytics, strategy, client leadership and agency operations
  • Identify passive candidates through LinkedIn and other professional networks, referrals, industry relationships and creative sourcing strategies
  • Develop a strong understanding of Code3, our culture and what distinguishes exceptional talent here
  • Conduct initial candidate outreach and, as appropriate, introductory conversations
  • Provide hiring leaders with market intelligence on talent availability, compensation and competitive dynamics
  • Maintain organized candidate pipelines and ensure promising relationships don't disappear when an immediate opening isn't available
  • Partner with our People team and hiring managers to continually sharpen candidate profiles based on what we're learning in the market
What We're Looking For

You are an experienced recruiter or talent sourcer who is particularly strong at finding people, not simply processing applicants.

Ideally, you have:

  • Significant recruiting or talent-sourcing experience, preferably within advertising, digital marketing, media, ecommerce, technology or adjacent industries
  • A strong network and understanding of the digital agency talent marketplace
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and engage passive candidates
  • Excellent judgment about talent—you can quickly distinguish a good résumé from someone who could genuinely make Code3 better
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to represent Code3 credibly in the marketplace
  • Comfort working independently with limited process or bureaucracy
  • A proactive, curious and persistent approach to finding great people

Agency recruiting experience is welcome, but we're especially interested in people who want to operate as an extension of Code3 rather than as a traditional external search firm.

The Engagement

This is a fractional contract role, designed for an experienced recruiter who wants flexibility while becoming a trusted recruiting partner to Code3.

We're open to structuring the engagement based on the right person's preferred model, including hourly, weekly/fractional, or performance-based compensation.

The initial engagement is expected to be approximately 10–15 hours per week, with the opportunity to expand or evolve based on Code3's hiring needs.
