Job Description

The Controller - Investment & Fiduciary Services leads accounting and financial reporting for the firm's trust, wealth management, asset management, fiduciary, and related investment businesses. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, maintains strong internal controls, supports audits and regulatory examinations, and partners with business leaders to drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and reporting processes.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, company policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Lead accounting activities for trust, wealth management, investment advisory, asset management, and related fiduciary businesses.
• Maintain effective internal controls and support audit and examination activities.
• Partner with business leadership on financial analysis, process improvements, and strategic initiatives.
• Manage and develop a high-performing accounting team.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting or financial reporting experience.
• Leadership experience managing accounting teams.
• Experience within wealth management, trust, asset management, fiduciary services, or other financial services organizations.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, internal controls, and audit processes.

Location Requirements
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $143,905.00 - $169,300.00
