A Day in the LifeThe Nelson Mullins Venture Capital and Technology Team advises companies, founders, management teams, and investors in entrepreneurial ventures, in addition to representing emerging and growth stage companies in corporate and financing matters. The work covers both legal and business needs at every stage of growth, from formation and early funding to employment, tax, intellectual property, regulatory compliance, including mergers and acquisitions transactions from formation through exit.
We Know YouYou possess 2 to 5 years of meaningful corporate transactional experience in a law firm setting; emerging company and venture capital experience is strongly preferred. You are knowledgeable in the areas of corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, securities, and general corporate matters. With strong writing, analytical, and communications skills, you have excelled academically. You are admitted to and in good standing with the Illinois bar.
- At Nelson Mullins, we are dedicated to transparent and fair compensation practices. Pay for this position is determined by factors such as experience, skills, and location.
- In Illinois, the salary/wage range is $215,000 - $270,000 annually. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for performance bonuses and benefits such as healthcare, retirement plans, and paid time off.
