Responsibilities
- Prepare and support the VP of Strategy & Transformation for customer and partner meetings, including the creation of briefing documents, talking points, and follow-up communications.
- Assist sellers in engaging internal and external key stakeholders and facilitating executive sponsorships.
- Edit and review executive briefings for clarity and impact.
- Serve as a resource for field teams, providing guidance on communications top practices and supporting flagship events.
- Coordinate and support field events such as Ignite, Build, AI Tours, and industry-specific conferences
- Define success criteria and performance metrics for engagements, using data to support decision-making and measure outcomes.
- Partner across teams to establish program strategies, requirements, plans, milestones, resource needs, and approaches for resolving program issues.
- Coordinate communication and engagement plans for stakeholders, partners, and customers, adapting messages to the audience and business needs.
- Track program progress, risks, and mitigation plans; use insights from performance data to identify opportunities to improve and scale programs.
- Embody and promote Microsoft’s culture and values in all interactions and initiatives.
Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 2+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement
- OR equivalent experience.
- Master's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 3+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 5+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement
- OR equivalent experience.
- Experience in event planning and coordination, with a focus on field support and executive engagement.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience tracking and managing customer engagement activities.
- Demonstrated sense of urgency and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to challenge established approaches, move quickly from idea to action, and deliver measurable value.
- Experience using Copilot, AI agents, or other agentic capabilities to improve workflows, increase impact, and create new value.
Business Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $77,800 - $153,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $102,200 - $169,900 per year.
