  • Ensure translations are accurate, culturally relevant, and consistent in tone, terminology, grammar, and style.
  • Review and refine localized content to maintain high standards of linguistic quality.
  • Manage short-term and long-term translation projects while meeting deadlines and quality expectations.
  • Reprioritize work effectively when source materials or project requirements change.
  • Use computer-assisted translation tools to manage terminology, translation memory, and workflow consistency.
  • Collaborate closely with other translators, reviewers, project teams, and stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about gaming terminology, genres, platforms, hardware, and player communities.
  • Contribute to a team culture focused on quality, continuous improvement, innovation, and shared success.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in translation, localization, linguistics, game design, or a related field.
  • Native-level written and verbal proficiency in Danish, including exceptional command of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Professional translation or localization experience.
  • Strong familiarity with gaming terminology and the ability to translate content accurately within a gaming context.
  • Experience with computer-assisted translation tools such as Crowdin, memoQ, Memsource, SDL Trados, Wordfast, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, adapt to quick turnaround times, and maintain quality when priorities change.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to communicate effectively in a highly team-oriented environment.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems, including Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, and SharePoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience translating or localizing gaming and technical content.
  • Passion for PC or console gaming.
  • Familiarity with computer hardware, software development, or game design.
  • Familiarity with game distribution platforms.
  • Knowledge of different game genres and online gaming communities.
  • Knowledge of gaming hardware and platform ecosystems.
