Job purpose
The Business Intelligence Analyst leverages data analysis tools and techniques to interpret complex data sets, providing insights that aid in business decision-making. Some of the responsibilities include collecting, processing, and analyzing data, creating reports and dashboards, identifying trends, and making recommendations to improve organizational strategies.
Duties and responsibilities

  • Gather and consolidate data from various sources, ensuring its accuracy and reliability.
  • Dig into various datasets to mine opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines to streamline the data collection process.
  • Lead advanced analyses and strategic storytelling across multiple data sources to inform both strategic annual plans. This analytic support will enable flawless execution across multiple geographies.
  • Lead category reviews that that integrate operator and consumer data, resulting in the establishment of strategies for regional assortment, innovation, operator targeting, promotion, shelving that reflects the distributor and McCain strategies.
  • Maximize new category data availability to identify opportunities in the marketplace and to build strategies that deliver solutions to the McCain
  • Demonstrate expertise in Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the organization's data architecture and structures.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and trends in business intelligence.

  • Communicate effectively: Demonstrates ability to effectively express ideas and opinions.
  • Developed Presentation Skills: Effective presentation acumen towards audiences of various sizes and management levels.
  • Gather content and prepare presentations and reports for Partner S&OP meetings and for distribution to stakeholders.
  • Support and work closely with cross functional project teams to deliver new innovations and product extensions according to defined deliverables and timelines.
  • Assist with the execution management strategies and optimization to deliver partnership value and sustainable results.
  • Support operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives including digitization and automation of processes.
  • Meet critical deadlines to support program / business areas to achieve goals and objectives.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Statictics, Computer Science, Informatics, Mathematics or related field.
  • One (1) to three (3) years of relevant work experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish (Writing and speaking)
  • Experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role.
  • Good Knowledge of BI Tools such as Power Bi (DAX) or Tableau.
  • Proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools, and statistical analysis.
  • Good Knowledge of Power Apps.
  • Experience in data mining, analysis, and reporting.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (especially excel), relational databases.
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication skills,
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
