Lead Flag Football data-source discovery, integration, and onboarding across global partners. Manage the data roadmap, requirements, schemas, quality processes, milestones, risks, and stakeholder communications. Partner with technical and business teams to operationalize data platforms, identity management, consent-aware practices, participation measurement, and reporting. Enable analytics connecting participation data with fan engagement, retention, and fandom outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the discovery, onboarding, and integration of Flag Football data sources into the central data platform.
- Coordinate data acquisition efforts across clubs, international markets, leagues, federations, vendors, registration providers, and other third-party partners.
- Manage the Flag Football data roadmap, priorities, milestones, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
- Translate business needs into data requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and monitoring needs.
- Establish and maintain standardized data definitions, collection methodologies, schemas, and reporting frameworks.
- Partner with engineering, architecture, analytics, governance, privacy, and business teams to move data sources from discovery through production.
- Support source onboarding through data profiling, validation, testing, quality assessment, and issue resolution.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive inventory of Flag Football data sources and integration opportunities.
- Coordinate recurring program updates, executive reporting, and cross-functional working sessions.
- Support the development of global participation measurement methodologies and reporting.
- Help establish participant-level data models, identity management approaches, and consent-aware data practices.
- Enable analytical capabilities that connect participation data to fan engagement, retention, and fandom outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in data product management, data strategy, analytics, business analysis, or a related field.
- Experience leading complex data integration or data platform initiatives from planning through implementation.
- Strong understanding of data pipelines, APIs, file-based integrations, ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and cloud-based data platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional programs involving both technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience gathering requirements, defining business processes, and translating needs into technical solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using SQL and data analysis techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with sports, participation, registration, membership, fan, consumer, or youth-related data.
- Experience coordinating with external vendors, international organizations, or decentralized business partners.
- Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, privacy requirements, consent management, and data quality practices.
- Experience with participant identity resolution, customer data platforms, or master data management initiatives.
- Experience developing KPI frameworks, dashboards, executive reporting, and self-service analytics solutions.
- Knowledge of research methodologies, survey-based measurement, and longitudinal analytics.
- Experience working with AWS, Snowflake, GCP, or similar modern data platforms.
